@ThePolymerClayJunkie Hi Polymer! So my first question is why on earth do you have 3 desks and 5 chairs?? Easy color solution: Paint your desk(s) one of the colors in your bedding, and paint your chair(s) the opposite color. Pick a third color you love, and use that for your paint, your lamp(s), and maybe an area rug. Use the color from your desk(s) for your window treatments. Done
@kristynichols I have 3 desks because I use one for crafts, one for my computer, and one for my nail art. And, my bed is white in the background with every color polka dot u can imagine. @ThePolymerClayJunkie You are most welcome. If you keep your existing bedding, pick your two favorite dot colors. Paint the desks white, the walls your favorite dot color (and use this on the other accents as mentioned before), and paint the chairs your second favorite dot color. Best wishes!
@kristynichols A few problems though, I can only paint one chair, because all the rest are some sort of fabric. I have an ottaman, a red beanbag chair, a fuzzy purple chair, and a small pink fabric chair. Also, I have 3 dressers..What do I do now??? Lol.

Looking at all these pictures possibly intimidates oneself to think they can come up with such nice furnishings. But I believe that if a person does this decorating one item by one item and builds on the room's decor you can achieve the same look. Most of this stuff is very basic stuff in almost any kids room but the trick is to place it just right to make these pictures.

@urHOTyup28 Small rooms are the best!! There are two things to keep in mind:
1) Organization is the MOST important thing. Mess and clutter will ruin even the best-decorated space, so find a place for everything, and make sure it gets there.
2) Don't try to pretend it's not a small room. Opt instead for a look that focuses on comfort and coziness. Your results will be stellar.
@mustlovepink14 We removed the closet doors, then added 2 layers of drapery: the string curtain and the white panels. On the inside, we used a closet organizer with a large shelf to create a makeup table while still providing clothing storage, and ran electricity for the two sconces flanking the mirror. Now she has her own dressing room! It's important to note however, that for a teenage girl, my client has remarkably few clothes. Don't try this if you need the closet space!

Since my clients paid to have this design put together for them, I don't think they'd be very happy if I just handed the whole thing out, but I CAN tell you that to get this look for yourself, all you would need is some bright orange paint and all white furniture. Use all white bedding and an orange comforter at the foot of the bed. Use hot pink accessories like art and lamps, white draperies on the windows, and you're ready to rock!

That exact shelving is available in white, sycamore (kind of a honey color), driftwood (a gray / brown which goes very nicely with black), and bamboo. There is a similar, chunkier style that comes in a very dark espresso or light birch. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like some more info.
Wow! I don´t know what to say. I don´t think I could live or sleep here, it´s crazy all over with that color. I suppose this is what teenagers love, though.
