  • miz = mix - sry i'm still enthousiastic like a 12 year old! commanding the cu-cu-cut, out of control! oh my goodness, oh my god!

  • wth lol, this is the only one i had on tape, 25 years ago, wow!

didnt knowthe jazzy jeff miz neither it was from battle track.

props to jeff offcourse, but i like this one better!

    pz!

  • listen to jazzy jeff s mix on the otha side he make that whiz kid sound like a geriactic retard.check him cut up rock the bells on the otha side...

  • @MRACE474 Thats not the point of this. I don't think any other Dj would have been able to touch Jazzy Jeff back then and even today he is my favourite DJ, way nicer than Q-Bert. You need to remember that in the mid 80s, this mix was still technically excellent, some of the scratches and double decking is very good to my ears. Jeff was about 15 yrs ahead of everyone else and rhythmically untouchable.

  • @maccagrabme he does sound way ahead of his time on that ultimate trax shht i got love for all djs so respect to whizkid RIP

  • you a retarded as bitch!!!!!!

  • Much respect to Whiz. He was and still is an inspiration to me and lot of djs from back in da days and today. He's a true legend. All you new djs outhere have to respect the old school djs like Whiz kid, Grand Master Flash, Jam Master Jay, Cut Creator, Red Alert, Funk Master Flex, Kid Capri, Jazzy Jay, Jazzy Jeff, Grand Master Theodore, just to name a few cause thanks to them, ya skills exist today and hip hop lives. Thanks to them we know our dj skills today. They deserve to be respected 4ever.

  • always felt for whiz on this record, I doubt there's much here tune-wise that the guy would've cut up but a job's a job, loved whiz kid tho, still got a tape of a set of his with theodore in '84, such a musical dj on the doubles, RIP

  • You had me at "My Mic Sound Nice"! Wish they still had DJ's showing skills on record! But, nowadays it's all about these no talented ringtone rappers! Peace to all those that know and all those just finding out, the mix also had me at Sweet Tee!

  • fukin deadly....., new kats have no idea how hard it was to take it to this level...

    GO WHIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!

  • @djlaze1972 Yo I learned to ignore these faggots everything these new-wave DJs Do they owe to Flash, Whiz Grand Wizard Theodore, Hollywood, Jazzy Jay etc. and they all know it. I wish they would tell these stupid ass youngins.

  • One other thing, its all very well these new djs thinking they are so much better nowadays but it really is so much easier to become a good dj today. As an example of how good Whiz kid was, take a listen to Scratch Goes My Dub. You might think, oh thats basic scratching but just imagine being in front of a deck in a top studio and being asked to add something to the mix of a top record, something that is musical and not over indulgent and will still sound good in 30 yrs time. Thats the talent.

  • @maccagrabme Yo you def understand, Whiz is my fav DJ (rip Whiz) next to Flash, but he freakin murdered Scratch goes My Dub I uploaded it I learned how scratch from these cats plus Whiz was so smooth listen to Scratch goes... and it sounds like a dude thumbing a bass he def used the fader like an instrument again I ignore these young cats with all this anti skip ish they got our anti skip was a delicate gentle hand and a couple quarters on the arm technology makes it sooo easy now days...

  • Even at the time this wasn't considered a technical mix, it was just there to present oldskool vs newskool. Transforming was a new technique and very few djs could do it at the time but it made you sound 10 times better than everyone else, a bit like the crab today. Jeff had mastered it a couple of yrs before and was also extremely precise and creative, in a completely different league to the oldskool djs like Whiz kid and a lot of dj's today.

  • Whiz kid was the shiat in the early 80's....you would think by 87 he would have progressed. This mix is hideous at best

  • DJ Whiz Kid is one of the best DJs of all time, I like the old school hip hop and grew up listening to it, but this shit sucks.

  • With all this talk of shit all you dumb mutha fuckas should eat shit & die!

This is the legendary DJ Whiz Kid from the early 80's tracks "Play That Beat Mr. DJ" & "We Dub To Scratch"!

This mix is from the late 80's and he still sounds pretty good!

When you idiots listen to DJs from that era you need to compare them to DJs from that era not to the DJs of today, that's like comparing a car or TV from the past to the ones of today, you fucking dumb-asses!

  • @DJDAMIAN72

Word! Couldn't agree with you more.

  • fucking hell fire.thats sounds shite

  • @jamesroggerson1980

YOu were about 6 or 7 when this was going on then... It wasn't Shiite then :) YOu missed it!! Classic times ;)

  • you talk shite nigger.

    im 38,

    the music thats used

    is ok ,

    the mixing is fucking awful.

  • when i listen to this mix i think of a steaming log flowing out of my anus.

    both are shit

  • Jazzy Jeff & CAsh Money were all back then... but its nostalgia... Of course Jazzy Jeff's version of this mix killed whizkid... but without Whiz you have nothing. I could batter whiz when I was 14 ..but that aint the point! Stepping stones in culture.. have some respect! You all speak like your heard it first here ;) I

  • i was around when it all started.i remember it all.you lot should respect me.i am the lord.whz is shat, thats that.nothing more to say

  • Shut it you bender ;)

  • fuck off you cunt lol

  • is your sphincter damaged>?
