Being an NFS:U2 fan I had some of those magazines names engraved in my memory.

Long ago, after a nice vacation in Bali, Indonesia I was on the airfield of Denpasar and wanted something to read during my 13.5 hour flight home (the long haul that came after a short flifht and stop in Singapore).

I got an edition of sports compact car I think it was and in there was this Australian 350Z being outfitted with a tripple rotary engine only now did I remember to check it

@colinshark That is a 20B 3-rotor engine. Check some other videos on youtube. 20B's are not expensive as you think. In Australia you can buy a Cosmo 20B front cut for around $7000. Make custom engine mounts for 20B and small transmission tunnel alterations if needed. Everything is possible in Australia!

Torque/RPM 297lbs@3000rpm

STOCK specs. Triple rotor has quite a bit of torque and then some

Power/RPM 280ps@6800rpm

Torque/RPM 289@4400rpm

The 2nd specs is from a skyline RB26DETT motor. As you can see 20b has better torque in lower rpm range that you'll readily enjoy =)

@broadyau Probably around 10K to do it yourself, and 20K to pay someone else, depending on what they charge. 4K for the engine, 1.5K for the rebuild, 1.5K for the ECU/Harness, 1K~2K-ish for the custom mounts or subframe, you'll probably need to modify the oil pan, plus miscellaneous parts like radiator, oil cooler, coils & ignitors, tuning, modifications to steering and driveline, probably will want larger wheels and tires to put the power down, you may also want to re-tune the suspension, etc.

not really even though it burns 2.0L of fuel but its also oil injected as well so the math is 2.0 plus 2.0 so its 4.0L also it is equal to a small v10. So in real life its more like a 400z.
