Darwin, What are you talking about? flamenco has Persian influences big time. and please dont give history lessons to anyone. cause you are wrong. the only thing that I can agree with you is that yes, this is surely a beautiful music. because he is a fantastic musician and you know where he is from? He is Persian. let me repeat it. PERSIAN.
It is a little ironic that there would be a "flamenco - Arabian" infusion since the Gypsies were Egyptian Muslims who went with the Moors into Spain and after the Spanish kicked out the Moors they stayed as fugitives. But their cultural heritage over the centuries became fused with Spanish culture. So Flamenco is essentially a Spanish-Arabian infusion to begin with. But aside from the history lesson, lol, that was definitely very beautiful music! Very well done.
I agree that there is arabic influence on flamenco but not only arabic! Arabs of that time were under Persian cultural influences. many scollars who went to Andalucia form Islamic world were Persian. Zyriab, Avecina, Al Biruni, Razi etc, are examples of great Persian Scholars of the time. Also that the gipsies were Indians who immigrated to many parts of Europe including Spain before Christ, not at Muslims time. that's why they are even in east europe. but they don't play flamenco in East Europe

I've see him in concert. he is simply marvelous. He plays the flamenco guitar just as much good as the bouzouki. great singer. a totally talented musician. bravo! He's so funny, too.
