False. Does music need science? No because all I see is just small numbers in beats, which is brainless math that portrays me that it is not science at all. Therefore, painting, music, sculpture, etc. with those art does not deal with science.
this is part of the attitude the so called people in charge seem to have. we have to save money for more important things, things that will expand peoples minds and of course get us s[special funding and exposure as a more effective liberal institution. so we can go buy our artistic crap and act like snobs and try to convince other people we are in tune with humanity, so we cut programs that expand peoples views, that actually teach people how to build the crap they imagine
John Goodman was amazing in this role, smacking the idiots in charge of teaching americas kids, yeah not letting them learn how to build things becasue we mostly outsource our business to other poor ass countries and mexicans rather than do our own fucking work, making our kids stupid and ignorant of everything becasue we like to play the kings and queens of the world, fucking christ no wonde rpeople think americans are jokes becasue people cut these programs out of school and kids don't learn
no what i was saying is the reason they cut such programs is becasue they believe we do not need engineers, or scientists, or mathematicians or people to build and operate machines, computers etc. becasue our companies and those main industries that do that crap outsource it to countries where they are less payed or forced to build and do it, so it saves money, we don't have to pay people proper wages, and we don't need to teach them either, so more money in our pockets.
Thats not the case at all. What do you think costs more, paying a few humanities professors or rebuilding tons and tons and tons of science labs, equipment, etc? As a result, Tulane has kept the cheaper engineering disciplines and now has a 3+2 physics/engineering program with Vanderbilt and Hopkins. In a sense, they have made the program better. With all due respect, please do some research. Tulane is a top tier U. They know what they are doing.
Without science, there are no:
Roads
Levies
Computers
Modern medicine
Websites such as youtube
Etc.

Out sourcing physical labor isnt related to Tulane getting rid of a few of its engineering programs. Try again.
