  • can you make a tutorial for airbrushing? i want to buy an air brush but i know fuck all about them and i want to buy a good quality one also

  • Nice work bud, that's great weathering.

  • Some paints wont pop until they have a gloss coat. Especially metalics and perils base paints.

  • Awesome looking Rhino and great job on the weather bud!

  • very nice first run my friend,, keep up the practice and keep us updated when ya get the chance..

  • nicely done and welcome to airbrush land ;-)

  • @Catachan1brainleaf thanks for the wise words

  • LOL, sounds like you had some fun bud. The more you use it the more natural it will become. Ive probably logged about 48hrs in total now on mine. Moved onto minis now, they are an excellent tool and you will not regret ever having it. Excellent work on the rhino bud, i can see the shading. Whats next ? :)

  • @MarneusAugustaCalgar working on a drop pod then going to paint my first blood angels tank then blood angel assault marines i think :)

why did i not heed your warning. I shit myself when the paint stopped coming out lol

  • I have to agree with everything you said, as it matched my experience exactly. Can't argue with the results though.

  • @Da40kOrks thanks bud glad i bought it and can't wait to master it :)

  • thats why I always suggest to people >practice on hard surfaces.. I used to use 2 liter bottles.. paper is flat and absorbent , nothing like a solid multi-surface model.

than you won't have to readjust once you start painting models...good job there !

  • @TheRocketSilo that is a very good point my friend if you are lucky to have scenery would be great place to start. like you said paper and plastic are going to give a totaly different result because of the absorbent nature of the paper

  • Latest FW newsletter had this:

"Ultramarines Transfer Sheet designed by Paul Rudge. Packed with over 750 individual squad designations and markings; blazons, chapter heradlry and squad numbers, as well as larger vehicle markings, and three sizes of trim suitable for use on banners or cloak hems, this transfer sheet is perfect for adding individual detail to Ultramarines miniatures.

Available to pre-order now for despatch in the week commencing the 28th of February."

  • @Randomcrapname80 dude best post ever thumbs for sure. i seen that decal sheet and wet myself. next time i get a commission I will be buying my first forge world item those aquila ultra marine decals just epic.

Thanks for making this Decal obsessed nerd drool lol

  • Loverly job on the rhino. Check out damncranky666 channel he has a lot of very cool videos. Not warhammer but very cool techniques. watch?v=FYMena3rkAg

  • @Digitalrecline i have he is a weathering god :)

  • Great stuff

  • @TwoSmokingBolters thanks bud

  • How are you finding the actual airbrush? Does the build feel nice and sturdy, in particular the trigger? Mine doesn't feel very responsive after a few uses but mine was far cheaper than the brush you bought.

  • @osoidian have to be honest buddy can't compare it to top brands as i have not tried them. what I can say is it feels solid and weighty in the hand. works very nice the only problem i had was human error :)

  • weathering its amazing man! thats awesome work

  • @an00bisRa1 thanks buddy

  • Looks nice, now the Rhino needs a wash and a checkup by the Techmarine you trust in ;-)

  • @Arbornoctua i swaer the techmarine would cry when the ultras finish the mission a go home to macragge looking like that :)

  • Yea budro! Looks like you're figuring it out! Lookin' Good my friend!

  • @jimeronimo thanks jim

  • man that's a yummy looking tank... I just want to eat it all up

  • @MoreDakka101 be carfull all the mud will leave grit in your teeth lol

  • SMConsotium is right, it's playing around with the mixture. Keep in mind that thinner is better than thick . . . if it's any consolation, the more you use the airbrush, the easier it is going to get. I think this is a good job.

  • @damncranky666 wise words buddy and loving your vids

  • It's all about getting the mix right at first with the vallejo paints. Once you ge that it's downhill from there on ;)

  • @SMConsortium i agree buddy, I have learnt dropping game colour straight into the cup then trying to thin it is a bad idea as the paint sinks and is hard to stir so I tilt the airbrush and stir at the side of the cup :)

  • Very cool mate.

  • @inspiredprophet thank you

  • I heard that the paint should be about the consistency of milk.

  • @andord123 and you would be correct :)

  • ps looking awesome bud

  • @utrinque3NDparatus thanks para

  • hey matey rather than me ask you about each psi level un paint thinner ratio and wat you use to thin your paints any chance of you doing a video tutoria thanks dude

  • @utrinque3NDparatus i will get it done asap mate :)

  • looks vary nice

  • @3000whitedragon thank you

  • lol air brush equals win. WHERE's MY PJS?!!
