  • Poor baby! Get a Bosch next time-

  • I'm curious to know how that K5 has held up with the spiral dough hook. The spiral pushes down which creates more vertical force in the planetary than originally designed for.

  • sou mais a batedeira planetária arno deluxe 80

  • The best attachment a Kitchenaid user would get is a timer.

  • Was that the lowest speet to start? I think it is too fast to start mixing.

  • Was that "Tainted Love" I heard in the background??

  • @gfm8959 yes

  • Where do you get a spatula that thin. I use a rubber on an it's always to thick to use during the mixing.

  • Speaking of spam be quiet. lol.

  • @sharpanator I have an idea mabe you can spray some spam, or that pam stuff so the hook is frictionless

  • I wanted to buy a Hobart, But my wife wouldn't let me. Great product, by the way. As far as fussing on appliances, I wish more people would do just that. It just goes to show you that it all comes down to 1 word.

    ADVERTISING!!

  • made in India !!!

  • POWERFULL MACHINE,315w or 325w?

  • my tilt head KA hurt itself everytime when i make bread :( the heavy duty KA looks much more sturdy

  • I use the dough cycle on my bread machine.

  • whats the yellow scrapper thing called?

  • @mayassa58 I believe it is simply called dough scraper (and cutter also).

  • @Kralitse It's usually referred to as a bench scraper.

  • And a Bosch will still destroy a kitchen Aid. I'm sorry if you bought one, But it's not my fault, or my problem there oxy-moron.

  • Sorry, My daughter said I'm just being mean.... So what, I meant what I said. and I got this attitude from watching too many Chuck Norris movies. So deal w/ it.

  • A Bosch will destroy a Kitchen Aid.

  • @Ma007rk and you can take a Bosch and Turn it on after we put it in your face.

  • @Ma007rk And a Hobart would destroy a Bosch.

In other words... who cares! Just make dough and stop fussing on appliances.

  • too expensive

  • I've seen they're a lot cheaper in america.

Here, in sweden, they cost around 800 dollars!

...but it's oh so useful and oh so pretty! :D

  • are you sure $800 dollars!

I paid $200 dollars for mine here in USA

  • read what they said again

  • LOL, quality is expensive....Buy your 18.00 Walmart mixer

  • Fiddleydiddley, It appears that you are to hung up on the number of attachments Kenwood and KA have. How about addressing a real-world issue you have had where Kenwood addressed that KA didn't. You can't. You are hung up on Kenwood because it is in Europe, but American machinery offers much better quality. BTW: You should be more concerned that DeLonghi bought Kenwood and their quality is going downhill. There is simply nothing that compares or last as long as KA. KA wins hands down!!

  • Excellent presentation, Good job !

  • the older kitchenaids can work fine with the spiral hook as long as you're not doing huge amounts of dough.

  • Is it really necessary to clean the sides of the bowl with a spatula? I thought the dough hook gets the job well done.

  • I didnt think this mixer was struggling at all. I think they earlier post must have been from morons!!

Our little 2 year old son LOVES to watch this one!

  • will this spiral hook fit my old ka from the l960's???

  • I need one of thows

  • Whats the diff between a paddle and a spiral? :S

  • lol put a chocolate chip in the middle xD

  • The motor sounds as if it's labouring. These Kitchenaids are only 300 watts. Go for Kenwood chef/major in preference, their motor's are at least 3 times the power rating and the difference is very noticeable.

  • That spiral attachment is brilliant whome ever thought that one up..

  • the flat is beautiful dough is different, u don't need to scrape the sides of the dough because the dough is sos stiff. this is however every hydrated (high water to flour ratio). And no he's not wasting a lot of energy, that's 3 minues of kneading right there, alton brown mix the dough with the paddle till it came together (1 minute or so)then knead for 15 minutes on medium, villaroma here is doing it on low for 3 minutes, i do not know how u calculate but ur wrong.

  • Thanks for the vid(i came from PizzaMaking website)

This helped me get started to know what to look for in my crust in general in my mixer. =) GL with your spiral hook, Im not that bold with my brand new mixer. ;)
