First vocal cover of Musicman's song I can say I enjoyed.. Every other guy tried to make it into what it's not, and their full time screaming didn't compliment the guitar riffs at all. There are different things that you could have done, but overall, you did an amazing job. Clean vocals for most of the song are the way this needed to be done, I feel the first bridge could have introduced the screaming (Btw, yours are much cleaner than the other covers) Thumbs up, thanks for doing this.
I respect all the screaming covers, because there's no way I could do it, but I like how you actually put the time and effort into making your own melodies and singing the majority of it. Compliments it sooo well!

Please dont take this the wrong way because i loved your clean vocals, but i feel like because this is a metal song it should have more than just a bridge of screaming, like the first bridge for example has a really heavy feel to it so, and again this is just a suggestion i think that on the first bridge when you sing the two parts over eachother you could scream the lyrics under your cleans, it makes for a unique and actually pretty badass sound. Good job, though the production wasn't done very well. Next time, I suggest you add a little reverb to your voice, and make the instruments a little louder. If you have Cubase, I also suggest you use the pitch correct feature to clear up any vocal mistakes.
seriously??!! The production of the original music man track rocks. no doubt. But you can't hear it over the bully-fried vox. Chorus is to be used to accent a piece of vocals, not empower it. Lyrics and melody are pretty good... liked the dubbed part. Might need a higher octave? Cubase sucks. only 3db of headroom?! wth?! Pro tools and MOTU DP all the way.... can ad an algorythm to enhance headroom to 24db, like a great brit console pre.
I used Audacity for my first song, and wasn't happy with it. I suggest you move up to something better, but if you don't, it's not the end of the world.

Nothnegal is a side project. but a major one. however i still care for my own band the most too but we are also in studio recording our fierst official full quality album. the other stuff we've had up is just rough draft stuff. some of it wasn't even real drums. our first cd due in a month or 2 will be way better. stick around for it and give it a shot

but the main reason why the nothnegal stuff sounds so good though is cuz it was literally mastered and mixed at audio hammer studios. same studio roadrunner record dudes record/mix at. my band hydraulacost can't match that no.. but it'll still sound really good. way better then the current stuff up there right now
I really like this, especially the verse and chorus parts. In all honesty, I do prefer the bridge sections done by Matel, just because I think that his screaming voice is more powerful.
