Why don't people do some research before they whine that this is a devil may cry rip-off. The creator of DMC took part in making this game so it is going to have that DMC feel plus this was made by Sega NOT Capcom. To those who played the demo and liked it (like myself) know its a really cool game with cool monsters and funky music which I liked. Very fast paced and entertaining...can't wait till next week to get my copy.

To all those people saying that this is a rip-off of DMC, check your facts. The guy who created DMC (Hideki Kamiya) is the same guy who created Bayonetta, so it would make sense that the two games would be very similar. I personally loved DMC and Bayonetta seems to deliver the same awesome action, so I might pick this one up eventually. More of a good thing never hurt anyone.

I played the demo of this, and I gotta say, it did not seem that special. Visually, its crazy; the good kind of crazy. But the gameplay seems pretty standard. Fight, move, fight some more, boss fight. It's like Ninja Gaiden II with gun-shoes.

Does the demo simply not do the game justice or is this basically all there is?

The game gets unbelievably crazy as it goes on. what you played was like the first part of chapter 1.

And while the gameplay is standard, try experimenting with the controls. anyone who's played a fighting game will be taken back by just how complex the moves can get, and yet just how easy it is to control.

I seriously recomend giving it a second look.
