  • The Constitution DOES NOT separate State and Religion. Some States have official religion. Fkn liberal morons!

  • Excellent! This should be broadcast nationally on prime time for 3 months.

  • @TheStrong32 yeah! as proof that liberalism is a mental disorder!

  • We do not want government in control of marriage. We need to start treating each other as humans. Government free marriage is the pathway to equality. Government should have no control over religion or marriage. Leave marriage to the religions or to the people to freely contract with one another.

  • i flagged this video.ha ha. just because it looks peaceful deosnt mean anything. its a horrible notion. and it is offensive to the founding fathers of this country. i dont care how good they make it look. they make alcohol look good too. but it still kills thousands. homosexuals make you ask the question. what is a family? because if both ways are right than what is wrong. two extremes cant be right. one has to be wrong. and it is homosexuality. its too extreme.

  • @imreadyyo26 "it is offensive to the founding fathers of this country."

What kind of nonsense it that? The Founding Fathers never inteded the Unied States to be frozen in time in 18th century. That's why they made a Constitution that could be amended. They intended the nation to change with the times. You seem to be making the arugment that, because the Founding Fathers didn't envision same-sex marriage, we cannot have it. Well, they couldn't envision women voting either, or racial equality.

  • @TheStrong32 the founding fathers would have love to see women vote. it is good that women are treated as equal when it comes to voting. but i disagree with you about them excepting gay marriage. women voting is beneficial in many ways to society. but what is productive and beneficial about gay marriage? cant you see its a despised act? dont you have a conscience? there are also people who love dogs and want to marry. lets make that happen too. backward people no morals

  • @imreadyyo26 " the founding fathers would have love to see women vote."

What hisorical basis do you have for that statement?

"women voting is beneficial in many ways to society. but what is productive and beneficial about gay marriage?"

It is beneficial to a free society when all of its members are treated eqally. As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." LGBT citizens are beneficial contributers to society. They deserve equal treatment

  • @imreadyyo26 "cant you see its a despised act?"

Inter-racial marriage was a despised act also. At the time the Supreme Court decided Loving v. Virgnia, national polls showed that 73% of Americans were opposed to it. Many Germans were in favor of the Nazi's racial laws. Mere public opinion is insufficient reason for depriving a group of its civil rights.

  • How about this great fix:

If "your" God doesn't approve of same-marriage, DON'T PERFORM IT.

If "your" God sees no issue, then be free to perform same-sex marriage.

Things that same-sex marriage affects: Two homosexual adults.

Things that anti-equality legislation affects: millions of homosexuals.

Hm. Which agenda is more detrimental?

  • I feel sorry for most of you in here. I will pray for you.

  • There really is no sane argument against anything in this video. Well Done.

  • Gays can't get a religious marriage if the officiating priest, rabbi, etc denies them too. We do truly have a separation of Church and state, and that's why gays are fighting for civil marriage. Hell, I don't want a church wedding. I'm not even religious. Just because you are shouldn't deny me a civil marriage to a women I love one day.

  • This was a really nicely done video. We, as a country, need to acknowledge that "religious freedom" does not mean one religion (or several small subsets of one religion, in this case) calling the shots for everyone. That's precisely what the Puritans were trying to get away from when they came to America.

Sure, some religious groups oppose gay marriage (just as they opposed interracial marriage). But many do not.

  • @artificialinanity i appose gayism to the day i die.

u really think two woman and two men should have sex or kiss intensively in public? that means you dont care about children and there innocence. if u seen two men moaning and groaning outside you would puke. and what about a child? u people are selfish to ur own desires. u dont care about the future u only care about what u want and not the entire human race. selfish fags.gthell

  • @imreadyyo26 What makes me puke is people being ignorant, hateful bigots. Like you, right there, in that comment. (Also people with horrible grammar, but it's probably unfair to point that out.)

I don't think anybody should have sex or kiss "intensively" in public, gay or straight. It's pretty much equally gross to watch, no matter who is doing it. But that's really not what this discussion is about, anyway.

  • @artificialinanity another extreme person. when will you find a middle path? look, christians and muslims arent the only people you can call extreme. homosexuality is an extreme way of life. prove to me its not. and i dont believe anyone should be doing anything in public aswell. im a muslim. democracy is a religion. its a new world religion and in it are the most extreme people on the planet. zionists who want to turn the world upside down. freemason faggets and zionist whores.

  • @imreadyyo26 Homosexuality isn't an extreme way of life--unless you're using some strange meaning of the word "extreme" that I'm unfamiliar with. There are many stable, loving families that just happen to have two men or two women, instead of a man and a woman, at their core. They live the same life I do or you do, going to work, going to church/temple/mosque, taking kids to soccer practice, the whole normal deal. All they want is equality--recognition that their families have value, too.

  • @imreadyyo26 " homosexuality is an extreme way of life. prove to me its not."

Actually, you are the one making the claim: the burden of proof lies with you.

  • @imreadyyo26 Then do us a favor and die now for you stupidity. People like you become child molesters.

  • @TMBrd89 you sound like an extremist. your veiw is extreme. and you know it.

  • @imreadyyo26 Yep I am as extreme as you.

  • @mark1tex Troll. You get 1 out of 10.

  • mark1tex

You need to read the Amazon com book titled:

THE BIG PICTURE: A Cure for Homophobia

  • @starmaYker

Thank you for the advice, I'll stick with reading the Bible.

I know there's a lot of dodging what it says, and attempts to find "make-it-go-away" verses, that do not exist.

But the FACT is, they ARE there, and cannot be twisted to say something which in actuality say the OPPOSITE.

I'm not homophobic, the literal explosion of all this in these days, is just another confirmation of the days in which we live. The increase of this is indeed spoken of in Romans 1.

  • I have no argument with what you believe and I support your right to believe and live the way you see fit. I do not support your right to force your beliefs on secular society. We do not all belong to your church. That's why the Puritans came to America, Freedom of Religion.

  • interesting reply, and nice try, but I do not belong to a church. This is because there-in lies the real problem. They are ALL given over to the antichrist ( satan) who is sitting in the temple of god, shewing himself, that HE is god

  • sorry you have gays and lesbians mistaken for you homophobes

  • a gay and lesbian lifestyle is mentioned in the Bible as a "vile affection" and of a "reprobate" mind. Homophobes are not mentioned

  • I hope this country gets these equality hating Christians and does a Rex 84 on them!

  • Yeah, but if they do turn out gay? Will you just disown them like most people?

I don't know how someone can find love wrong, but whatever.

I'm assuming your a christian, am I right?

  • You know what? I'm sorry. That thing I said about your kids getting taken away from you was out of line. I apoligize.

Instead, I hope one of your kids ends up gay, wouldn't that just be the ultimate irony? You spend your life hating gays, and telling your children to hate gays, and one of them ends up gay.

I feel bad for your kids, they are going to be confused out of their minds when they wonder about their sexual orientation.

  • Good for you, teach your children the value of hate.

I hope your kids get taken away from you. The next generation shouldn't get their minds poisoned by zealots like you.

  • Uh, I'm not gay.

Even if I was gay, I could adopt a child, and get him or her out of the shitty system. Well, not in certain places in America, because bigoted bastards like you want kids to rot in foster homes.

  • No, not bullshit.

Sorry your biggotted, evil mind can't wrap itself around the idea of people with the same genitals being in love. Too bad.

Luckily enough, in 100 years you'll be remembered like the assholes who made black people ride on the back of a bus.

  • You have proof it's just lust? 2000 year old books don't count.

I have friends who are gay, that have been together longer then any strait couple I've known.

  • So, if we allow two consenting adults who love eachother to marry, that means we need to allow people to marry trees?

Nope, they're all from earth, what planet are you from? Disgusting bigot land? Yeah, that sounds about right.

  • That gay priest creeps me out. Imagine him with your child--NOT. Keep gays away from children!

  • Uh, just because he supports gay marriage, doesn't mean he's gay.

And why would we keep children away from someone who is gay? Are they just going to molest because their gay?

    Nope, you're just a bigot.

  • A bigot is "one who regards or treats the members of a racial or ethnic group with hatred and intolerance". Gays are not an ethnic group. Being gay is not an immutable characteristic, any more than is being a smoker. It is a sexual desire that is given in to. And sometimes abandoned, as with Anne Heche. To compare the desire to have gay sex, which can be suppressed or yielded to, hidden or done openly, to the civil rights struggles of blacks is very insulting. Blacks couldn't change their color

  • Your belief that gay sex is a desire is based on what?

  • Wrong in many ways. Some gays do not like the same sex for physical but emotional and mental reasons and have relationships that are not based on sexual desires but on love.

  • @FreepShop Your definition of bigot is (inentionally?) incomplete. People can be the victims of bigotry based on religion, right? Religion isn't immutable either; but that doesn't give us the right to discriminate against them.

No, Blacks couldn't change their color; but is that the only legitimate criterion? If a Jew was able to hide his Jewishness in Nazi Germany, does that make his struggle against anti-Semitism any less valid?

  • @FreepShop "A bigot is 'one who regards or treats the members of a racial or ethnic group with hatred and intolerance.'"

I have no idea where you got this strange definition. According to Webster's New World Dictionary, bigot is, " 1. a person who holds blindly and intolerantly to a particular creed, opinion, etc. 2. a narrow-minded, intolerant person."

  • keep religious bigots away from children

  • Jesus, Protect me from your followers.

  • It's ReRun with a wig! HAHAHA

  • Haha...is that fat black chick a man or woman? HAHAHA! FREAK!

  • The day of decision is here. Tuesday March 26th!

  • Of course liberal Lutherans I should have known

  • Lutheran pastor, not Catholic priest. : )

  • yeah because animals can enter into a legal binding contract

    same with children

  • Great vid! I have no doubt that we will all one day share the same liberties and protections =)

  • This is a really good video. Good job.

  • Nicely done. It's about FREEDOM, EQUALITY and EQUAL PROTECTION under the law. I could have lived without the closeup shot of the priest's hand holding his cross...a bit much.

  • Great video. In fact it's exactly what has been on my mind lately. I think a lot of people are led to believe that this issue is about gays vs. religion and it's absolutely not. We can all live together peacefully and respectfully. :-)

  • This is an excellent appeal to those who need to understand how to give rights, without taking rights away. Very Nice.

  • double think...

  • Wonderful video. We *can* have marriage equality and religious freedom.

  • Thanks for making this beautiful moving video. I curate at the GCRM Media Center networks and sharing it there now.

  • Awesome! We the people support the freedom to marry!

  • Well done....

  • Good work guys <3

The lady's singing was very pretty :)
