OH MY GOSH.....Had me actually in TEARS listening to this fantastic rendition.....I am over 60 yrs old and I come from the "old school" of this Iconic Song....like the most PERFECT ONE in "IT's A WONDERFUL LIFE'' christmas movie......for me it does in everytime I hear it.......That is how I remember it when growing up.
You fellows are SUPER...I use to sing barbershop and would have loved singing this.....absolutely breath taking.
what arrangement is this? me and a couple of pals are doing barbershop, but we can't seem to find this. We would be very thankful for a point in the right direction. By the way, you blew me away with this!
@Meincartman See if you can find the Platinum version. It's held so long you'd think he was using a rebreathing technique. No disrespect to the man here. I don't think I could do a quarter of what he did.
Way to Go "Premier" - You were always one very special group of people. I miss listening to you. I was inspired by your musicinaship and your creativity. The Harmonizers were and still are proud of you.
Premiere retired in October of 2006. We had no rehearsal time before getting together to do these shows for the Harmonizers. We had a great time singing for the audiences. It was not nearly our best. We had emotional throats singing this as we dedicated this performance to our previous Baritone and Barbershop Mentor, Freddie King. Thanks for watching.
All in all a very impressive performance if you ask me. Could use some work, but not by any means bad. Mind if I ask how long you guys worked on this before performing?

This is Clay Hine's arrangement. The quartet Platinum first did it. It can be heard on the album title of the same name. Auld Lang Syne.

Sounds good Fred. I've been watching you in and out of quartets on the stage since the mid nineties. Man time flies.... Keep on singing!
