  • I have used vistaprint several times and have recommended them to several people. Never had a problem with them what so ever. Got great cards for about $12. However I wish I would have went with the gloss finish. It looks more professional.

  • This is true theyre full of shit and they will randomly bill your card.

  • Hey, you should probably delete this video as I am working for Vistaprint, in their new Australia Hub. We do not charge membership nor do we charge any other amounts (unless you order a website- which is pay per month). Vistaprint do not have any other company like you are saying they do.

They do not have any memberships with Vistaprint. Vistaprint was started in 1992 by an American man.

If your order is lost, then they resend the order free (with no charges to your card) and it is sent free.

  • i have been usein them for long time naver had this done to me and il keep useing them

  • Be careful with giving them your domain name - idea. Go to Go Daddy first to register your domain name.

  • I've used Vista Print for years never had a problem,,,,,great company to deal with.

  • hey VIstaprint always was and is great !

  • Vistaprint scammed my credit card! It's not a lie and he's not just a bitter old man. I'm 25 year old female and it happend to me too.

  • Your a fucking scam you ass your such an ass hole >(

  • They have since got rid of the "membership" program. Happy Vistaprinting!

  • You sir are a bitter old man who likes to say the word "Crooks". I have used them and had no problem, and so have Millions of others. If you click the OPTION to sign up for a monthly membership and then give them your information/Credit card number/Etc. And approval to bill you then YOU are at fault. Not them! If you don't know what you are talking about don't act like it. ~Huntereich~

  • I HATE FICKOS. OK SO U WANNA BUY BUSINESS CARDS. U FGO ONLINE FIND VISTA PRINT. THEY OFFFER U FREE CARDS U try to buy these free cards u find the cards then u find a fee/ so iu thinkok, its only 4.99. u buy these cards they then take ur paypal info? after taking ur paypal info, they then now this is the cool part ; charge u without authorisation for a delivery fee? so to recap. they charge u say, 20 quid for cards. afyer u agree and give paypal info, they then insiduously charge postage

  • vista print is a scam fi=ul stop. r u diumb??? ok, here is an ad that offers u free business cards, ok r u still with me? then u go on there website .. like i did/ follow the link............. then it offersu you no option for the FREE cards u were promised .?? so look at the VISTAPRINT website and correct me if i am wrong but..... THE OFFER FREE CARDS U END UP BEING CHRGED A FORTUNE

  • I went to Ripoff (dot) com and checked on Vistaprint - there are FIFTEEN PAGES of complaints against them - mostly all for stealing money via this fraudulent "membership" this guy explains

  • I know this is an old vid and these people may have changed their ways but I ordered a "free" shirt from their website a couple of days ago and payed $4.41 for shipping, do you think they'll charge membership fees on my prepaid credit card that had $19 on it? I usually uncheck anything that goes along the lines of "news notifications"... that may have had some strings attached. I'm a kid so I'd hate to be scammed out of the last few bucks on my prepaid card. Thanks.

  • @pendejadafcc The people operating the scams under numerous company names are still in business, still using the same business model, so it's anobody's guess whether they will start billing you for "membership fees" every month or not. Only way to tell is to wait and see. They're heavily reported to Ripoff Report but I have yet to see any criminal indictments.

  • i ordered vista print and that never happened to me

  • @adearahan The company's business model isn't to do it to everyone. Probably they would get more law enforcement interest if they were to start charging *everyone* fraudulent "membership fees." They must have some policy on when they commit fraud and when they refrain.

  • Hmmm, update.............

I re-designed 250 cards, ordered them, they gave me a 9/2/10 date of arrival, and they arrived 2 day's late.

Pretty good i thought considering they came from the other side of the world - Im in Sydney.

The adjustment and quality of the card was spot on, damn great value, and will now, continue to use them.

I was a bit dubious before as you can see from my previous postings, but i think it's now time to stop the posts.

    Thanks Vista Print.

  • @dwsnare On line scams are only successfull for long periods of time if some people actually believe they got their money's worth. These "Vista Prints" et al. company fronts don't swindle everybody, they would probably draw more law enforcement attention if they did it to everyone.

It's curious, though. They rip off people but because they didn't swindle you, you'll still buy things from them. That seems unempathetic for their victims.

  • So much nubs posting on this... I am a customer of vista print and I even get 250 business cards for free... you guys are nubs there is nothing wrong with the company I plan to now have them make me a free website... call me a freebie if you want but stop talking crap they are actually very good compare to other companies i used to do business with..

angrynotsooldhippy lol I know you made this in 2007 .. u were probably just some irate nub who curses every company you do business with

  • @101Maxx You're an idiot -- or one of the crooks running the scam. You can Google these crooks and also check out the many reports on Ripoff Report. Even if you aren't one of the crooks running the scam, the fact that they didn't defraud *you* doesn't mean they're not criminals.

  • I just ordered some more cards, due to arrive on the 9/2/10 or soon (quoted by Vista).

Will let you know how it goes. This order was only for $17 Aussie dollars @ 250 cards.

    Watch this space.

  • It should be interesting to see what happens. Lots of people get cards and aren't charged monthly but lots of people are and only notice if they happen to check their payment records.

So far nobody has managed to explain what the mechanism is for these people deciding when to pull the monthly scam and when not to. It appears random.

It should be interesting to see if they start taking money from you or if they call you up or send paper mail informing you they're planning to take money.

  • Well well well, egg on my face yet ?? No, i don't think so. The bloody cards turned up today, lolol.

Two day's before they were suppose to. Quality isn't 110%, but 100% (if that makes sense), i am a Virgo by the way, & quality is everthing to me, but i will say, they are just fine, really nice.

The text is a bit small, so im going to order more with the credit they gave me, & increase the text size.

I think, if your fair play with em, they will look after you. Watch this space.

  • I ordered cards, on the 23rd Dec 09, and my delivery date as stated will be on the

8th/1/10, they upgraded my postage to "Priority" for a money glitch from thier part.

I did get that back fairly quick - to my surprise. I payed $78 Australia Bucks, so if i was ripped off, then hey so be it. If they turn up and all is cool, i "MAY" order more of something, but it will be in very small batches, lol.

Im the unltimate devils advocate, but im also open minded, so see how we go.

  • I've used Vista for all my marketing, from postcards to business cards. I've never had a problem with them.

  • It's curious, some people have no problems with them, some people do. I would imagine that the most successful scams are those that don't commit financial crimes every time.

  • I hate scammers.

  • 100% a SCAM......... We should all start a site called:

    VistaPrick. com

It's a SCAM!!!!! I spent a day out of my life to search, design and upload my business cards to them.

Paid $30 for shipping, 7 Days (for 250 cards!!!!) Cuz I needed them quick.

Today is Day 7, no cards. Call them up: "OOh..... we didn't even print them yet... Our machine is not working"

    the fuck?????

These guys are based in Bermuda or Jamaica or something. They're NOT in your country..

    STAY AWAY FROM VISTA PRINT!!

  • "Socially engineered" awesome. thanks bud

  • ive heard of this sort of thing too, but ive used them once for a "free" rubber stamp, they havnt charged me for anything since, but you do have to be careful.

  • thanks i nearly bought some now

  • The Whatever works used Shopping Essentials and they still want money even though they can't prove I selected Yes---I DIDN"T I escaped out, knowing I would forget to cancel it and be out so much money by the time I remembered or noticed the charges. CROOKS .....and now since it is > 6 mos that it occured the CC co says they can't call it fraud. Bastards.

  • Hey this happened to my mom....how do you get out of it....We went through Whatever Works and they offered so much off your purchase if you sign up -I DIDN"T because I know I would forget to cancel before 30 days---I escaped out....but they charged me anyway...and still want money

  • i used paypal so they can't charge me monthly right? :S

  • Hello, is someone here working for VISTAPRINT ???? it is a scam ! i did not sign up for anything, no pop-ups, no YES on nothing ! ZERO !..... be careful with this company, this is a froud !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I suggest you start reading agreements before you click the I agree dont blame vista for your ignorance its all there on their agreement page you idiot

  • "Your so incredibly rude"

Possessive case, moron. What you means to type was "you're" -- contractive case. Thus we see your Republican IQ.

When you can find anything I say that's mistaken, do let me know, won't you? Thanks. Cunt.

  • "Actual text from this "scam""

You idiot, the criminals frauds are burried deep on their web site specifically so that their victims don't find it. Their "business plan" consists of defrauiding people by not telling them they're going to secretly swindle money from their victim's bank accounts monthly for fake "membership fees." That you defend the criminals means that you're one of them.

  • Oh, and you buuttfucking criminals also have numerous fake names, fromts, and pretend companies which --also-- commits the same fraud. You crook's have a detailed history of fraud which is found by doing a googlw search, something that I did after I found you crooks planning to swindle me. Your "company's" only saving grace was that you sent paper mail in the form of advertizing which most people will throw away without opening in an effort to face your ass from prison.

  • "VistaPrint is not a scam at all"

The VistaPrint scam is that the crooks don't inform people that they're planning to defraud their bank accounts monthly for fraudulent "membership fees." VitstaPrint is a scam, a fraud.

  • I use vista print for my business cards. It works fine for me, only 22 dollars for 250 custom cards (w/shipping) I think you're the one at fault here for not reading the terms and conditions clearly stated on the site. Also, maybe you should be designing your own instead of leaching their design for.."free"

  • "I use vista print for my business cards"

There's a sucker born every minute. Any "company" whose business model relies upon fraud and scam should be avoided.

  • I use Vista Print for all of my paper marketing. If you click on the 2nd window that opens after you place your regular order, to get $10 back or whatever, that is how you get signed up for the discount club, "scam". However they do give you 30 days to cancel. I was wondering how they could afford to provide such a professional looking product so cheap, now I know, they use the membership to scam the less experienced buyer. Just read the fine print next time.

  • "use Vista Print for all of my paper marketing"

There's a sucker born every minute.

  • "There's a sucker born every minute."

Only if you don't take the time to READ THE FINE PRINT.

  • "Only if you don't take the time to READ THE FINE PRINT"

Any "business" that relies upon hidden disclaimers, torturous wording and phrases, and obscurity as a business model is organized crime. For Vista Print, their "fine print" is nothing short of fraud.

  • Lots of business' use "hidden disclaimers, torturous wording and phrases, and obscurity as a business model". Unfortunately that is the world we live in. I agree, you feel you were "scammed", and probably were, to an extent. I just urge you to READ the fine print, ALWAYS. I really like MOBILTEC's idea, he/she said "I won't purchase ANYTHING on line that is valued over $25". Using PayPal instead of a debit/credit card might help too.

  • I didn't use them ever and they charged me anyway. Where's the fine print in that? This company is a total rip off and is based out of Bermuda. If you want to trust them, that's your business. If I were you, I'd use Google and check out their BBB history. 422 reports of fraud in 1 year.... yeah fine print that.

  • Victory so sweet!, as an update and following the recommendations I talked to my bank close the card and open another one and file with my bank a claim for fraud, the money was reimbursed to me a like a month ago, if you want to hurt this crooks don't even to to them, do as I did. Takes longer but is better.

  • "my bank a claim for fraud, the money was reimbursed to me a like a month ago, if you want to hurt this crooks don't even to to them"

That's really great news. I wish everybody would look at their bank statements closely but few people ever do. It's what allows these fraudulent "companies" get away with this.

You know, I wouldn't care to "hurt the crooks," it would better if the law would put the fuckers in jail, but out of countless criminal complaints, no DA's office has filed papers.

  • I have been a vista print customer for two years now. They have terrific quality products at a very reasonable rate. They ship their products according to how much you CHOOSE to pay for shipping. I have spent thousands of dollars with them and I have not had one, NOT ONE, erronious charge.

  • There's a sucker born every minute.

  • Im worried now I have just bought a free pen although it isnt really free because I pay shipping costs. The pen hasn't arrived yet and it is getting on for a month since I ordered it.

  • "Im worried now I have just bought a free pen although it isnt really free because I pay shipping costs. The pen hasn't arrived yet and it is getting on for a month since I ordered it."

Some places take 90 days to ship something -- may as well because they already have your money. }:-} The best thing to do, it seems to me, is to check out every company on the Internet using Google first before purchasing anything on the Interet to see what others have found out about the seller company.

  • I would recommend the online printer BlockbusterPrint. They have been doing all my stuff and they really are great. Check 'em out you'll love me for it.

  • Thanks for this-was just about to make an order with them and thought i'd just google them first and found your vid.I was lured in with their "free offers" but I think I'll just play it safe and pass up on them. Thanks!

  • "Thanks for this-was just about to make an order with them and thought i'd just google them first and found your vid.I was lured in with their "free offers" but I think I'll just play it safe and pass up on them."

It looks like the number of people who don't check first and get suckered is still growing. It's great that you checked first. }:-} These days I can't imagine why anybody contemplating doing business with anyone would not check the Internet to see what others have found out.

  • Man I should have done my search too!, I found 3 charges on a row for $14.95 PASSPORT TO FUN, with VISTA PRINT. First thing on the morning I will go to my bank and put a fraud claim, bt I believe that on the long run I will have to get a new card number, these two companies are robbers! I will do every thing on my power from today on to spread the word about this people!, thanks for posting, I was going to do the same, I might!, thanks for posting, will forward this to every one.

  • "I found 3 charges on a row for $14.95 PASSPORT TO FUN, with VISTA PRINT"

Outrageous, isn't it? And yet these CROOKS are still iun business despite endless criminal charges being filed by victims. I have numerous emails from victims, one of which I really need to make a video about.

    God damned crooks.

  • AngryNotSoOldHippy, dont waste your time talking to this VickieMR56, she is a fake youtube user!, click on her so you can see her profile. she must work for this robbers!, she is here to do damage control, just let us keep spreding the word.

  • i have been doing business with Vista Print for over a year now. Never have been asked to "sign up for a membership fee" never have been billed, etc., etc., etc. Have been more than pleased with Vista Print, orders came in a very timely manner, and the price? Very beyond reasonable. Quality, for the price was impressive as well. So I don't know what your problem is, but hey, someone has to

    B-tch, right?

  • "So I don't know what your problem is"

Maybe that's because you're an idiot and haven't done a google search on the criminal company, huh?

    Moron.

Bet you you're a Republican, too.

  • nope, not a republican, very liberal, raised in the 70's by very liberal parents. Advice, don't pre-judge.....that's what our generation was about, correct? And if I didn't have a problem with Vista Print, why can I not say so? I'm not going to call YOU a Moron ;-)

  • Sounds like you're the CEO over this scam.

  • That sucks, at least you saw humor in it. But one thing that bothered me during your video, you use the word crooks a lot, throw in some synonyms.

  • i just ordered some cards from them im going to wait out the time until i get them then i will probably call to cancel my acount. What would you recemend??? thanks i apreacate the heads up

  • " then i will probably call to cancel my acount. What would you recemend"

My mistake was that I didn't research them before I bought. If I had done that I would have seen that a great many people have been defrauded and I would have gone elsewhere.

My advice is that if anyone mistakenly purchases anything from them, pay EXTREMLY close attention to one's credit card or debit card statements to see if these people are taking money out of their accounts, then file anotr criminal complaint.

  • yes i did excatly that i didnt research before i ordered but i will be sure to keep close attention. Thanks so much for all your help

  • i called these crooks up lol how about your read the the fine print you crack head, i have never had any problems with them read small print buddy and whats that like the thousand time you said crooks go smoke some more crack

  • "i have never had any problems with them"

    Next you should try Scientology.

  • i havnt received my free custom stamp yet. I'm sure it will probably come but I am now signed up for this i guess. How do I cancel, do I just call up the number on the website? I'll probably wait for the stamp to come first since it should be less than 30 days, they say my order has been shipped.

  • "How do I cancel, do I just call up the number on the website?"

They send out a "notice" saying they're going to start charging your debit or credit card money every monthy and there's a telephone number on the paper they send. You have to telephone them some how -- if they have a legitimate phone number on the web site you should try that first.

When you get them to cancel, would you tell me whether they did it right away?

  • yea you should recive your order soon if it says shipped

  • THANX SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!...i swear, i was just about to go order from the site because some friends recommended it to me... but now i see that the overwhelming majority agrees that this is a scam....Damn Shame....If something sounds too good to be true.......you know the rest.....

  • "THANX SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!"

I need to do an update since I've received feedback from others who were scammed and defrauded by VistaPrint.

  • Then there was another charge for the same amount $14.95 under a different company name a couple of days ago that's when I knew something was wrong. I immediately contacted my credit card company blocked my account, ordered dispute charges forms, and got the telephone numbers for both companies. I then googled PASSPORT TO FUN and SHOPPING ESSENTIALS.

  • Hi my name is Ashley and I was scammed! I recently found two charges on my Visa card account that i did not make from companies called PASSPORT TO FUN and SHOPPING ESSENTIALS, both of which I have never heard of and never purchased anything from. I check on my account regularly so after the first charge $14.95 I thought it was something I forgot I ordered or my fiance ordered something with his card on the same account that he forgot to tell me about.

  • You wouldn't believe how many people (usually elderly) who fall for the international lottery scams and continue to pay small sums of money thinking they are just on the verge of winning a large sum of money! Its only when they try to collect some of their small prises they think they have won that the scammers cease contact with them.

  • "and continue to pay small sums of money thinking they are just on the verge of winning a large sum of money!"

There was a time when the US Government actually went after the crooks. Now every agency's #1 job is justifying their budgets and jobs while abdicating their charters to protect people from crooks.

  • Hummm. I've delt with this situation when I was a Crdt Mgr for four gyms some time ago. In our case, it was the last pymt due on a membership that was taken back. I just wrote it off-rather than piss off a probably returning member.

If its Visa or MC, contact them. Fill out the complaint & they'll take the money back from them. Block the card from further chgs, cause they can try it again x 2 & you'll have to fight it x2, if they do.

Good luck with this, amigo! : D

  • We're surrounded... Sigh...

Can't you just put a block on your credit card so they'll reject any future charges from these twats?

    Moosie

  • "We're surrounded... Sigh"

Idiots to the left of me, crooks to the right. }:-} I'll contact my bank and see if they can block these people specifically but since the crooks use different names, probably not.

  • "but since the crooks use different names, probably not."

My own bank *will* block specific people/companies. But if the source name is changing, it gets tough and might involve blocking *all* electronic transactions. I doubt if you want to go that far.

Another option, at least with my Visa account, is that they can re-issue the card under a different number, still retaining the same account. Then the crook is bouncing charges on a dead number.

  • The world and the internet is chock full of scam artists. I am an Ebay seller and I won't purchase ANYTHING on line that is valued over $25. There are plenty of brick and mortar stores to deal with near me. What I don't understand is how these people are able to conitinue to exist. What they are doing is clearly illegal and they should be shut down by Consumer Affairs and put in jail. Better yet shot.

  • "The world and the internet is chock full of scam artists."

    I was part of the discussion forums and the voters who talked about opening up the old DARPA Net to commercial enterprise an d the general public. Some times I feel like we made a big mistake by allowing commercial expansion. }:-}

  • That's a shame. I had placed numerous orders with Vistaprint, the last being two years ago. They were always quality cards at reasonable prices. Thanks for the heads up, 'cause I was planning to use them again.

  • "That's a shame. I had placed numerous orders with Vistaprint, the last being two years ago."

If you haven't done so, you might check out your bank records for any charges that you didn't authorized from these people. I don't see any criminal indictments yet and a search failed to turn up any class action lawsuit, but there are a lot of people who are reporting this scam. Strange that they haven't been trying to scam you since it looks like they are scamming quite a lot of people.
