Ronaldo is just a very fast runner and counts on our ridiculously light modern balls and their tendency to swerve unpredictably when you toe-punt them to score his goals for him. His only skill is stepping over the ball and then losing it. Totti and Del Piero are practically the only remnants of a time when playing football actually was more about skill than fitness.
