First of all people this product is for large companies who spend $50k a pop on a satellite truck per even. This is not a mifi / camcorder replacement. 700k seems a little slow considering that you can get 1mbps per modem but perhaps erring on the conservative side is better if one carrier's signal drops out.
Your rates are very expensive for what is basicly three mobile broadband connections and an extremely heavy box. also, it has wires! no support for wireless cameras then it seems!
If you get wifi it will be WAY cheaper. This livepack costs $4,000 and you cannot buy it. You have to rent it and it can only be for a month or a year commitment. Cool invention though.
hey can someone help me pls ? I have a livestream account and im wondering how i can stream my mixes directly from the audio of my computer... So that the sound doesnt have to go through the speakers first, then into the microphone and sound shitty.
lol we have already been doing this for a few months now. It is really super easy and cheap to make your own. All you need is a camera, a laptop, and a mifi. The rest is up to you. We have done live broadcast while moving, and stationary. The only problem is the HD version of LiveStream is way to expensive. You can use LightCastMedia for a 1/4 of the price and have much better quality.
Are you kidding. This is very cheap. The point here looks like that it doesn't just use 1 sim card it uses several, so much less chance of dropouts. Compare this to hiring a satellite truck and it looks pretty attractive. The target audience is not amateurs. For a pro set up e.g. event AV this looks very attractive.

It's pretty much a pro setup.
Well, actually more of a miniaturized version of a pro setup.
Nonetheless, it's pretty useful for big outdoor/indoor events.
