@911crazed lol no my dad was showing me this and he's like Nah man this was BACK IN THA DAY! i knew this guy!,and he said see? you listen to um contemporary rock or something like that so..that made me wonder d:
@conquistador73 I'm 43 and grew up on this shit from day one-but I'm only 300 miles from Houston so for Texans Helstar and Watchtower,S.A. Slayer,Juggernaut,Pantera, and Dead Horse are a must.Good to see Poland has good taste in metal-you have my respect bro!
@38decembers Thank you ! Oh yes! We had the first heavy metal festival in the days of communism in east Europe , Metalmania in 1986 .... then it was hard to get music of western artists on CD or vinyl records , cos' we lived behind the iron curtain.however, there are many Poles who appreciate good bands , I am one of them Cheers !
HELSTAR!!! ONE OF THE FEW BANDS I EVER HEARD CHANGING ALMOST THE MOST OF THE MEMBERS AND SOUND ALMOST AS BEFORE!! GREAT UNDERESTIMATED BAND LIKE MOST SPEEDMETAL BANDS AT THAT TIME!! HAD A METAL SHOP AT THAT TIME BUT THE RECORD LABELS WHERE TO LAZY!
I discovered Helstar in Paris, France when i was something like 16 ( i'm 40 now, bought their first 2 LP's back then ). Good stuff never gets old fashioned, especially when it never was fashionable to begin with. Many have disowned this, not me. Once again: good stuff never die...
dude, why have i never known about this awesome band. i love ALL metal and ive never heard these guys. i need to pay more attention to american power metal lol. this sounds like metal church on steroids.

exactly. i was just pointing out that its a bit silly. i love helstar and metal but its not the most intelligent genre out there. iron maiden rules and they wrote quest for fire, but didnt know that cavemen and dinosaurs were seperated by millions of years. judas priest had the lyrics faster than a laser bullet. a laser is light, nothing is faster than light, einstein proved that. metal pretends to be smart and is not, thats what is so great about it.
@bluehairspaz Aside from a few obvious mistakes a lot of Metal bands have very intelligent lyrics and themes, though not so much science-like (Though GAMMACIDE concern themselves with scientific lyrical themes) they DO have intelligence in more practical things like life and such.
I'm not some fan getting mad or anything, and I laugh at bands trying to sound smart but failing too, but there is intelligence in this genre. It's like good Black Metall: you just gotta look for it for .. For a while
@samlat48 i do live with it. i said i love metal. i just think its funny that it pretends to be something it is not. its not intelligent yet it pretends to be. the fans would be ok with the band if they wrote about what they care about, not wanting to clean up their rooms, but instead they use big words and pretend to be smart when they are not. i think its funny.
@bluehairspaz What exactly makes you think Helstar is trying to be smart?
And if you honestly think Judas Priest was trying to be intelligent with Painkiller, that's one of the funniest things I've read. Painkiller is one of the most cliched songs ever made.

@citizen773 You don't eat music idiot, you listen to it. No wonder you don't like this band, and you probably listen to mainstream filth.

Comparable to DOOM's E2M1... But AC/DC's "Big Gun" track (I believe) was the main inspiration for Bobby Prince to produce a game remix.
