You clearly have not read all my comments and don't understand my point. I've replied to enough people just because you received hate for your comment doesn't make it my fault people just didn't agree with you , I had top comment after all. I've made all my points leave me alone.

  • I'll just say it, I'm here because of the Departed.

  • I'm irish american :) My grandparents moved here from ireland.

  • Hehe, that reminds me of when I was in N.Y. city when a bird proudly told me she was 1/16th Dutch, which meant that we had much in common. She also stated that she had a fiery character because she also was 1/8th Itialian, explaining her passionate behaviour.

Oh well, can't blame them really for having a limited cultural history I guess. The Norse have done the same when settling in different countries.

    Good music btw.

  • @IamMannix you are ridiculous. im taking it that you are irish, so this is what ill say. if you were "irish" you wouldnt bitch about everyone else wanting to be irish or claiming to be so. you should be proud that everyone wants to take claim to such a great people. i dont mean to get all sentimental so to tone that emotion down i would like to say this, MAN UP. everyone who "claims" to be irish is either truly irish or is so excited to claim so that we should embrace it. dont be an asshole.

  • at the ND USC game this year, they had kickoffs with this song. it made a great atmosphere

  • who cares where you are from this is a F****** good song

  • such a damn good song fuckin love it!!!

  • @iammannix well said.

  • Thumbs up if you listen this in 'The simpsons'

  • @ThePPQLL this was in the simpsons!!!

  • You are somwhat correct. I am however an Irish American, proud of my heritage. My Great, Great Grandfathers family was forced from their homeland not by famine but political tyranny. Irish America sent relief for An Morta Gor, and support for the Republic. We still support One Island, One Ireland.

"Everyone, Republican or otherwise, has their own particular part to play. No part is too great or too small; no one is too old or too young to do something." Bobby Sands.

    Up the Republic!

  • its really stupid all the people saying they are irish because there ancestors left to come here, im only the 3rd or forth generation of my family from scotland but that doesnt make me scottish, im a motherfucking canadian

  • Comment removed

  • @MrDanielfrye Nothing at all wrong with it it's great that your proud of your heritage everyone should be. I just have a problem with some american people that have some distant Irish ancestry but claim to be Irish. It just annoying to a lot of people here because so often we see people that are completely different to us and don't know anything about our culture, but claim to be "Irish" as we would.

  • there is a difference between heritage, and citizenship. if you were born in a country, you are a citizen of that country, (with some exceptions). but that hs nothing to do with your heritage. if your family came from some where else, you have that country as part of your heritage, or ancestory. what is there to argue about?

  • @MrDanielfrye i agree with you there, mate. People get angry cause they feel that they need to be right. aka @IamMannix . Yeah sure, I was born in Canada, but my entire family is from Germany (ignore the username was my friends file i use) so even though I was born here, doesnt make me any less German

  • Hey guys dont listen to these pricks. Claim your blood and ancestry as you see fit. But remember we left that country for a reason. and for the most part its these fuck tards right here. I know for a fact my family got persecuted out, and had our ties stripped from us. So fuck your native born bigotries, I am what i am made of.

  • @Leonardcomedy YOU didnt leave the country. you have fuck all to do with what your ancestors did

  • man I would really hate to be hellcatrecords right now... getting spammed by guys fighting over heritage...

  • @iammannix That is just a fucking joke, those people are not Irish just because their great-grandfather or whatever came from Ireland. "They are American NOT Irish". the only true americans were native americans such as cherokee and apaches indians

  • @mrpeople333 You don't get my point man, I don't care about the native Americans. It is my view that you are either born and raised in Ireland, which makes you Irish or you are born and raised in the US which makes you a citizen of the US which means that you are American. I can't keep repeating what I have already said.

  • Something crawled up SaNiTaToRmAn's butt and it wnt come out...

  • Thumbs up if your proud to be Irish American?1

  • WTF?! co tak tu mało polaków?

  • TU POLACY PRZEJMUJEMY TEN FILMIK ŁOHOHOHOHŁOHŁO!

  • The population of Ireland is roughly 6.4 million,

There are over 36 million supposed "Irish" people in America.

That is just a fucking joke, those people are not Irish just because their great-grandfather or whatever came from Ireland. They are American NOT Irish.

According to the 2000 census, there were only 156,000 real direct Irish people living in the US.

There it is, plain and simple, I'm not trying to insult anyone I'm just stating fact.

  • @IamMannix I don't mean to piss on your parade, but where is your evidence? You can't just make claims without giving proper sources. Whether or not you are right, I see no reason to believe you unless you give me a credible source for your information. In the mean time, do not just be a dick to people about their heritage and make ludicrous claims you can't back up.

Sincerely, someone you knows how to be reasonable without being insulting.

  • @SaNiTaToRmAn Evidence of what? What ludicrous claims did I make? I don't understand I'm just inquiring. I stated some facts that if you research you will find them to be true.

I don't try to be insulting or a dick to anyone, I will respond abusively when I deem it necessary. What is it that you want evidence of?

  • @IamMannix I don't need to waste my time researching these facts, you need to provide the evidence to back them up. Yes, the population is 6.4 million, but you need to prove it. You say 36 million Americans claiming Irish heritage? How do you know? You're making claims that you can't support. You give me your source, and I'll believe you.

  • @SaNiTaToRmAn This is youtube you cant post links, google 'Irish American' and you will see that Wikipedia will provide the first link. In the first paragraph you will see that over 36 million Americans reported Irish ancestry in a 2008 survey by the U.S. Census Bureau. There is the source it's the best that I can do.

My exact problem with these people, is that they claim to be Irish simply because of their ancestry without knowing anything about my country.

  • @IamMannix I agree with you, and support you. I myself am studying and learning all about Celtic culture and history. You appear reasonable and logical, and I am glad to have had this discussion. Fare thee well.

  • @IamMannix No one cares about your ridiculous eugenic view of culture. Blood and culture are both liquid. If you think Ireland's blood and culture have a single, solid, line into history, you're a fool.

  • @Teenagefreedomfightr Clearly people do care about my view you fucking retard, are you blind?

I'm starting to think you are because if you read over my comments you would see that your comment just looks idiotic and irrelevant.

I have already said that blood and ancestry doesn't matter, you are either born and raised in Ireland, making you Irish or you were born and raised somewhere else making you some other ethnicity.

You're comment lacks understanding and intelligence.

  • @IamMannix Your just one big ball of vitriolic, unintelligible and illogical fire; aren't you?

Nice attempt to be demeaning but your logic is completely flawed. Your logic goes from "ancestry doesn't matter" to "(If) you were born and raised somewhere else making you (would be) some other ethnicity." Which demonstrates your lack of understanding. Ethnicity is not a blood line nor necessarily a nationality, it is a cultural interpretation. IE, blood and culture are both liquid.

  • @Teenagefreedomfightr Yes... I said ancestry doesn't matter meaning your great-grandfather being Irish is irrelevant as it doesn't make you Irish.

I said being born and raised in a country is what makes you Irish or whatever as it means you have an understanding of the national or cultural tradition. Ethnicity is belonging to a group that has a common national or cultural tradition I am very aware of that. I don't see how my logic is flawed at all, and remember, you were demeaning first.

  • @IamMannix do you comment on this video everyday lol

  • @IamMannix You demonstrated, just now how your logic is flawed. Your definition of ethnicity, semantically more in-tune with culture, explains in and of itself how a person does not have to be an Irish nation nor of Irish ancestry to be culturally or "Irish". As well as how all interpretations of a culture weather native or not are inherently varied and flawed.

Yes, however; I hold little regard for nationalistic, ethnocentric or eugenic statements.

  • @IamMannix that may be true, but is there really anything wrong with people being proud of their irish heritage? I traced my family sur name back to dublin city. I am only like 1/10th irish blood. but i am still proud of that, just as much of my Japanese heritage.

  • @IamMannix Agreed good sir. My Grandma was born in Austria, that does not make me AUSTRIAN

  • @IamMannix dont denie people to say what they want about themselves, your statement is like saying Americans cant be american if their NOT an immigrant ( since thats the foundation of the nation -fact). who are you to judge how one perceive ones self

  • @IamMannix You can't tell other people what their ancestry is. If people recognize their Irish heritage, you'll have to live with reality the way the rest of us do and accept it.

  • @IamMannix lol, hm accordint to you, there is an amirican nation, nice joke m8. so according to you Cristoforo Colombo came to america and found there white people, did i miss something??

  • @alezyz i think u missed primary school with that spelling kid.

  • @SophiaVixen may be im not american, a=? think about it baby

  • @IamMannix americans dont refer to them self as american, not to claim we arent but everyone is from somewhere here.since its such a new country we still direct to our roots. if people in america have irish background,in america thats irish. u ask an american what are they are, i bet my life they wont say american. odds are ull hear them say irish, black, british french, asian or w/e it may be. its just self identity. we crave it. we dont have old history and culture like older countries do.

  • @SophiaVixen "black" isn't a race you dumb bitch. It's a label. African is a race. Damn don't talk. Yeah we say we are where our roots are. My descendents are German and English, I'm not German or English, I'm a fucking American and so are you. >_<

  • @TheMiDaFlo america is full of IMMAGRINTS. we're nothing but other races. all you people need to learn the difference between the words NATIONALITY and RACE. my NATIONALITY is AMERICAN! my RACE is ITALIAN AND AFRICAN AMERICAN. open a fucking dictionary. who dumb now?

  • @TheMiDaFlo oh and btw name calling doesnt show ur intelligence what so ever. if you want to debate like a decent human being, then you can feel free to message me. make ur point. dont just try to insult people. im BLACK btw. its not wrong to identify my race as black and not african american. either or works just fine.

  • @IamMannix why does it matter? americans r just connecting to our roots. we dont have old culture or history, we have our roots. its our identity. we crave it, you would to if ur country was as new as ours and was a melting pot. everyone is from everywhere here so how do we be different? identify our background.its not like theyre the jersy shore claiming to be italian then making assholes of themselves. who cares if an american says theyre irish? here if u have that background thats what u are

  • @SophiaVixen That makes no sense.

If you are born in America, you're American. If you're born in Argentina, you're Argentinian. If you're born in Ireland you're Irish.

It makes no sense if you say you're from Ireland if you weren't born there.

So, I'm from Italia and Saint Lucia because the father of my grandmother were from there? That's bullshit!

It's like saying your grandfather is Italian because his mother was from there. NOPE.

I'm Argentinian because I was born in Argentina. That's it.

  • @MrAgus700 i didnt say that at all.. that doesnt make sense at all ur right. but america is full of IMMAGRINTS. we're nothing but other races. all you people need to learn the difference between the words NATIONALITY and RACE. my NATIONALITY is AMERICAN! my RACE is ITALIAN AND AFRICAN AMERICAN. open a fucking dictionary.

  • @SophiaVixen Oh God.

"open a fucking dictionary" says the girl who also said "IMMAGRINTS".

    Wow.

I'm not gonna say anything. I'm just going to leave this conversation and never answer to any of your comments back.

  • @IamMannix thats why we refer to ourselves as irish americans. its not being from ireland that makes us proud. its having irish blood that makes us proud.

  • @MrConstah And irish livers, I heard those things cost a fortune.

  • @MrConstah Damn right!!

  • @IamMannix hey dude thanx for the info.i am a malaysian but i love to be an IRISH.are you one?

  • @IamMannix I respectfully disagree. If you have European ancestry there is actually a very likely possibility you have Irish ancestors. The Irish were some of the first immigrants to settle down in America so they you came and multiplied. The Irish had more luck in the United States and were thus able to have more kids. The actual country of Ireland has had things like the potato famine which has caused a fair of their population to disappear and their population has yet to recover.

  • @IamMannix fuck that! if they sey they are irish ! then they are irish !

  • @Pitbullgladiator Hey i'm the queen

    that makes me the queen

  • @JJsmallz no that makes you a fag! your roots make who you are

  • @Pitbullgladiator no.. you make yourself who you are

    if that makes sense

  • @JJsmallz yeah! through your roots

  • @Pitbullgladiator no! find your own roots

but remember where you came from

  • @JJsmallz i cant make my roots! my roots are history! i have VIKING roots! fuck yeah

  • @IamMannix Learn the diff between nationality and race.If there was an Asian citizen that was born and raised in ireland u would still identify hi as asian wouldnt you? if u wouldnt ur a hipocrite. cuz acording to u "if doesnt matter where ur grandfather or whatever came from" yeah if an american wasnt born there but has full or damn close to irish blood its what they still are. i understand ur probably trying to separate americans from the rest of the world but dont be ignorant in the process

  • Don't listen to that twat we love our American brothers !

  • Dear stupid people: stop fighting over stupid things

    Sincerely,

A normal person who thinks people on youtube fight over ridiculous things

    P.S. Great song!

  • Thumbs up if u like making ur coffee Irish!!

  • Moved from Limerick when i was three to America. America is not my home land it never will be. Long live Ireland!!!!!

  • Dear Americans that claim to be Irish: Ye aren't Irish ye live in fucking America. Therefore ye are American. Don't insult our people by claiming to be one of us.

    Sincerely,

Real Irish person that actually lives in fucking Ireland.

  • @IamMannix Dear faggots who claim to be Irish to try and piss off the Irish Americans, it doesnt matter where you are born, just who you are, and REAL irish people dont say "ye" like some drunken leprechaun, that is a stereotype brought on by hill billies living in the south like you IamMannix

  • @Bodchubbz I am fucking Irish you twat and you're definitely not you spastic no Irish person would ever say "hill billies". Get the fuck off I don't need to prove anything to you, you sad fool. Fuck you you're pathetic and soooo blatantly American.

  • @IamMannix first of all, im irish american, second irish dont say twat, that would be the french, so you just proved that you arent een close to being irish, and if you dont need to prove anything to me, then why are you replying to my comments? very contradictory there, obviously you cant be older than 15, and judging by your language, your mom failed as a parent

  • @Bodchubbz youve obviously never been to ireland since your relatives left, everyone across the british isles, including the republic of ireland say twat, no offense, just pointing that out

  • @Bodchubbz You are fucking pathetic you live in America how the hell would you know what goes on in Ireland. Even another person got involved disproving your point. "The french" my god I'm embarrassed for you and you're calling me 15?? Newsflash genius, it's not possible to prove anything over youtube it doesn't mean I can't reply when you are so entertainingly stupid. My mom failed as a parent? Ouch that one hurt you are either a child or a complete idiot, wait... you're probably both.

  • @IamMannix Get'm son!

  • @Bodchubbz i agree completely with your statement

  • @Bodchubbz You are an idiot, and clearly an American bastard who can't tell his ass from a hole in the ground. Twat is English, not French, and Ireland is North of England, so it would make sense for him to use this language. Now shut the fuck up you asshole.

  • @SaNiTaToRmAn umad bro?

  • @Bodchubbz Just at ignorant losers like you. Get a life you bum. Based off you're absolutely incredible grasp of the human language, using such words as "umad," you're clearly a child, and have no idea how things happen in the real world.

  • @SaNiTaToRmAn rofl, im 20 dumbass, and you must be mad because you are still talking to me, and telling me to get a life? you are raging on a youtube video

  • @Bodchubbz "Rofl," is also not a word you pitiful fool. I don't waste my life talking to idiots, but I am right now. I have only one thing to say, which is "Grow up." You could be more than a fool on the internet. You could work at the circus for example, or in an exhibit at the zoo.

  • @SaNiTaToRmAn when did i say rofl was a word? god you are the dumbest kid in the world, rofl is an abbreviation, talking about a fool on the internet? you dont even know what an abbreviation is. Please go back to sucking your dads dick

  • @IamMannix dude your stupid just cause you live in fuckin ireland doesnt mean your fuckin irish dumbass im irish or part irish doesnt mean im in ireland drink lil a fuckin fish you can live in ireland and be from californe or texas so shut the fuck up while you can bitch

  • @celeronbull Did you just say that being Irish and living in Ireland doesnt neccessarily mean your Irish? WTF? Also... how does one get to Californe?

  • @celeronbull I'm Irish. You're American. Plain and simple. Obviously I can't prove to you that I'm Irish on youtube, retard, it's a site with anonymous users.

If I'm not Irish then what the fuck would I have to gain from writing that comment?

I am expressing an annoyance that real Irish people have in relation to all these so called "Irish" people that live in America with fucking american accents and know fuck all about my country but claim to be Irish.

    You're an idiot, fuck off.

  • @celeronbull So you are stating that immigrants that move to Ireland can be called Irish.

Only a true Irish being can speak the language. Only a true Irish being remembers the 7 men who fought for independence. Only a true Irish being can sing the Irish national anthem!

Is mor an naire e sceal mar a beith ag titim amach sa triu milaois!, People like you!

    tá tú amadán Celeronbull.

  • @IamMannix You're a fucking dipshit. Being American is about being from all over. You jealous ignorant piece of shit. Fuck you and everything you live for. Americans can be from anywhere. Go fuck yourself because you're obviously the only one with standards low enough to do so. Fucking idiot.

  • @greendayfreak3088 Being American is about being from all over? I'm sorry but the USA is a country isn't it? Are you saying that the entire population of the USA are immigrants? Were none of you actually born there? The nationality of people that are born and raised within the USA is American. Not Irish. You're very clever aren't you, now take your meaningless insults and grow the fuck up.

  • @IamMannix wow, ease up....It's just as shitty over here mate!

  • @greendayfreak3088 You sound like some redneck prick with his head up his ass. You're clearly a child, or at least have the brains of one. Being American means you ARE FUCKING AMERICAN. As long as we're talking where we're from, all my ancestors came from Africa, and then migrated all over the world. I'm part Irish, but I put no stock in that because my families have been here 18 generations. I'm American, but because of you, I wish I weren't. Dickhead.

  • @IamMannix don't spread hate, just enjoy the amazing music :)))

  • @IamMannix why ye hurtin ye own brothern?
