I drive the solution to the bus strike to work every day.

I believe the city should take steps to let them strike permanently. That way they can't collect unemployment benefits, and have to live on strike pay. Clearly they make too much money if they can afford to feed their families on strike pay for over a month as it is during Christmas. Clearly they need more time off to ponder the meaning of life...

The unions of old were interested in worker safety and in workers being treated fairly. I'm ashamed to see that this particular union has been transformed in to a group of organized extortionists, all organized by a corrupt group of senior drivers. They want to keep rights to scheduling because if they don't it'll ruin the little scheduling scam that they've put so much work in to setting up.

I actually got in a car accident which never would have happened, if I had taken the bus, which is what I usually do. I am sending the repair bill to his office and if he doesn't send me a reply or the money to fix it, then I will sue him and his union.
