I think Lucas did ok somewhat, but the reason he "annihilated" was because the other players kept killing themselves and doing badly.

It means you haven't figured out how to deal with Meta Knight. He can't be approached like most other characters, since he's so specialized in trapping opponents.

Could you explain what you mean by "trapping opponents"?

I mean that he can keep other players locked in front of him so he can repeatedly hit them. He can set people up real easily to continue to attack and attack them.

Thanks. I'm learning how to exploit the new point system: Instead of it counting as a self-destruct when someone lands on the ground but falls, the point goes to whomever last damaged a character who gets a Fall. Metaknight seems to thrive on this, since he can attack so rapidly and is great in the air.

To activate firebreathing, you just need to be idle for like 4 seconds. You can move, just dont press any buttons.

Four seconds is an awfully long time in Smash Bros. But thanks for telling me. Hopefully, I'll learn to control the Super Dragon better, as I've seen it become absolutely destructive.

What was the wolf player doing game 2? Did someone take over? Lucas did well with the items, even without the smash ball he'd have won comfortably. Two kills off a soccer ball was cool, I love hitting it with a golf club or tennis racket as Peach, it doesnt seem she gets the concept of the sport :P. Doesn't matter when she ko's people with it though :P

Game three was the biggest turtle fest I have seen for a while... especially Kirby the idea is to KO people!

Wolf's erratic falling and hard-to-control up special causes me to self-destruct a lot as him, that's for sure. An experienced Wolf player is dangerous, but I think anybody who's just starting out as Wolf will stumble a lot. That's how it seems to be: Whenever I see Wolf, he's either a complete stooge or a total madman.

When people just sit around and do nothing and play defensively. In most fighting games where you block, blocking constantly is known as turtling, hence playing defensively in most fighting games = turtling. I'm okay with Wolf, his tilt A forward and up are rather good, and forward smash has a LOT of range, down smash isn't bad either

Hmm, I didn't notice this comment. Thanks for telling me what a turtle fest is. That means Ike is the biggest perpetrator of this by far when playing online. Picking stages like WarioWare and Mushroomy Kingdom would force him out of it.

Say Overhazard, regarding not knowing how to breathe fire with Yoshi's Final Smash, he does it automatically. I'm not sure about whether he has to be near a character to be able to breathe fire though.

Wario seems to be for the experts only. Be patient, and you'll see some experienced Wario players. There are a few in Japan already; watch out for one wearing the red-and-blue overalls scheme.
