This was recorded in October of 1989 to celebrate W.C. Clark's 50th birthday. Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble opened for W.C. and the W.C. Clark Blues Revue. W.C. had several old bandmates play several songs with him including Denny Freeman, who plays the lead on this song. What a great evening of music THAT must have been.

I've had this Austin City Limits gem on vhs

for quite a few years, and great to see it up here in such good quality. What blows my mind is the fact that Kim Wilson was just as Great a harp player back then...as he is now. He's always been great. ...as he continues to do his thang & continues to mesmorize. The

whole band & Angela sound fantastic...

but Kim's solo still gives me goose bumps. Thanks for posting FATharpo!

This is the 2nd half hour of ACL the last time SRV was on there. Right before he died. It started off with a jam with SRV & WC, then went to the Austin legends you see here. I have never gotten to see it all, just remember the night and had to leave after SRV and the first song of this set. You'll notice Jimmie is playing SRV's "Charley" Strat, and the same outfit he wore on the Family Style cover. So it's 89-90.

Angela Strehli, and yes she does, Deja Blue, Soul Shake and Blue Highway are the ones I've gotand are all real good. On Blue Highway Angela does a tribute song to Stevie Ray Vaughan, its just called SRV and is a really beaut song, you can buy them off e-bay.
