The buildings and streets were in a constant state of disrepair. It was truly sad. The winters were as brutal as Chicago's. People were so bored they mostly just drank or watched TV. Buffalo's one bright spot is its University (UB). And the "go Bills" chant was just a small distraction from lives trapped in the inertia of an industrial wasteland.

I lived in Buffalo and the surrounding area for the first thrity two years of my life.The only bad thing in Buffalo is the shrinking economy.,The people are wonderful, and the city is a great place to rise a family.

This was really nice. I will always love Buffalo, having spent a year of my childhood, 1971, in Dunkirk just down the lake. I remember the Beth-Lackawanna Steel Works vividly. I still think the North Coast down to Cleveland is one of the most beautiful areas in the world and someday it WILL come back if for no other reason than it's a fertile valley with alot of fresh water that's been cleaned up at last. I had to leave to find work, like many, but I'd come back in a heartbeat if I could.

It's very clean and a very well kemp city. Hardly any toxins or hazardous waste at all compared to other cities. In fact I think it's one of the top 5 cleanest cities and has great sanatation departments. Sounds great in my book :)

It is the best city in the worldd! <3 Its really fun, the episode of Extreme Makeover was like 2 hours or what ever was because of our community and how we make the best of everything and help eachother. I lived in Buffalo and the surrounding area for the first thrity two years of my life.The only bad thing in Buffalo is the shrinking economy.,The people are wonderful, and the city is a great place to rise a family.
If oyu don't mind the cold and the snow it is a wonderful place to be.

This was really nice. I will always love Buffalo, having spent a year of my childhood, 1971, in Dunkirk just down the lake. I remember the Beth-Lackawanna Steel Works vividly. I still think the North Coast down to Cleveland is one of the most beautiful areas in the world and someday it WILL come back if for no other reason than it's a fertile valley with alot of fresh water that's been cleaned up at last. I had to leave to find work, like many, but I'd come back in a heartbeat if I could.

It's very clean and a very well kemp city. Hardly any toxins or hazardous waste at all compared to other cities. In fact I think it's one of the top 5 cleanest cities and has great sanatation departments. Sounds great in my book :)

Yeah, I hate when people make fun of it. I am born and raised from here, and I still live here. It is the best city in the worldd! <3 Its really fun, the episode of Extreme Makeover was like 2 hours or what ever was because of our community and how we make the best of everything and help eachother. Dont judge Buffalo, its been through soo many things but we've all found a way to handle it together =)

I deal with so many ass holes here, more than in Florida the "gunshine state" or whatever people call it. People here are only nice when they get something out of it. It's like any other city. I hate how Buffalo thinks they have good food. It sucks! And its not pop, its soda! Dammit.. The weather also sucks, most miserable place Ive ever been.. Bottom line I think the city is just ok. And Buffalonians.. stop complaining about the Canadians!
