Trust me I saw VV brown waaaaay bk when she did a gig at the Betsey trotwood. She wasnt even signed back then. She was just gigging. I spoke to her and she was proper down to earth. She was playing this one string guitar at the gig. She even invited me down to the studio and she was playing everything. Trust me this is grass roots....

Honestly.. I'm a little sceptical. I love her uniqueness, but I don't want her to be a fad, can she really be 'sustainable'? Will you buy a CD and then when another 'up-and-coming' artiste releases their single will you just toss it to the side and go and get their haircut and their CD?

I want all the best for her, though I don't even know her, but I hope it's something that will make an impact and last..

I think its natural for when a new artist to come out for us to be sceptical. I am for sure... I think that we live in a society that wants everything quickly and doesnt allow things to grow naturally. I think that we should wait for the development of this artist and what she has to offer with her other song choices. I also thing that live is where artists are at and Ive seen VV brown and she is absolutley breathtakingly amazing live. Check her out and see for yourself.

Wait for the album to come out first ! There is nothing wrong with an artist being fun and having an identity within fashion and it not be considered a fad. Amy had abee hive.. grace jones had her ways, fashion and music go hand in hand.

The fact that she can perform live music and produced her own album makes her far beyond the word fad for me..... most artists dont even write there own songs and just because she has an identity and a cool hairstyle and isnt in a field with a guitar and a boring slow 'serious" singer songwriter song she is deemed fad ish....
