Observation--The top charts benchmark songs for populalarity. But it so sad that great musicians and fine artists like Ultravox, Mike Oldfield, OMD, Gary Numan, Fixher--Z seem typically left behind on a low profile and underated to say the least. Since the 1980s of listening to groups like Ultravox I always gain a sense of refreshness and renewed spirit. In a way I am relieved the priceless new wave artists are not on radio stations commingled with the poorly written cheap stuff.

This time Midge will be on his own, I heard of the reunion and wanted to go to the UK to see them but couldn't, they will be in Berlin in April 2010 and I hope I will make it this time. My other favs are 'Flash and the Pan', but they never performed live. I only listen to them on YouTube and the records I have, esp. 'Atlantis Calling',
