The fact that they are reaching this crowd is great, they do what most churches don't even want to talk about. They always talk about God at all of their shows.

What was this about? My guess is this they need the money. Don't get me wrong I've been rocking to this for years. But c''mon you can tell he's a few octaves lower than in 1987. That's why the crowd sang most of it. Still like the guitar lycs.

Oh yeah, didn't they abandon God and try to compete with other metal bands and fail miserably? Now they are converted again? So back to my first point, they need the money perhaps.

@777 - you really need to OPEN your eyes & mind. Playing music that has been an influence doesn't make it wrong. Have you listened to 'the Covering'? I would guess no. There is no 'Number the Beast' or anything like that. By taking the hard line & saying they have been mislead shows you dont know these guys. They are committed men who are sharing a message through a medium that doesn't normally accept this type of message. Step back & look a bit more at the big picture, you may be surprised

So, I see the point you are trying to argue, unfortunately you've dragged in other irrelevant peripherals to try and make your argument. Stryper have never said they agree with lifestyles / images of the original bands, just that they liked a SONG so they did their version of it. Lighten up...
