Carlito's Way and Scarface were both directed by Brian DePalma. One of the best directors ever. It's a shame that Martin Scorsese always gets credit for his great films but DePalma doesn't get enough credit for his.

So true. I dont get that either and I dont get why a movie like Snake Eyes only gets a 5ish rating at imdb. That movie was way better than that. Alone the 5min tracking shot in the beginning was insane and imo almost as awesome as the tracking shot in Orson Welles "Touch of Evil".

But f*** that. Movies are art and true artists dont need credit or fame or bullcrap like prizes.
