General comments:

There is some slang in this song, and a bit of word substitution from English. Not purist Afrikaans, but nothing major.

Also, the game Robbie sings about is actually the 1995 final against the New Zealand All Blacks, where the Boks won 15-12. In the game against (Western) Samoa, the Boks won 42-14.

"Vir" means "for". "Voor" means "ahead of" in this context.

Hi Jason. It is about 2 different events, namely during the 1995 Rugby World Cup game between South Africa and Samoa, and another 2007 world cup game. During the 1997 game the son-in-law hit uncle Lourens when they had an argument about not supporting the Boks. In 2007, uncle Lourens prepared himself by watching Rocky 1-5, and then revenged the humilation of 1997.
