ECT is the most effective treatment for severe depression. The benefits outweigh the harms by a multiple. Go away with your misinformed, bigotted, anti-psychiatry petitions. If ECT is done voluntarily there is nothing to say against that. We don't decide by petition which medical procedures work and which don't. Leave that to medicine and people who know what they are dealing with.
its lovely to see someone who has practically recoverd from depression, it just goes to show how much modern medical practices can help peoples lived to the extent of them seeing light in it again. it makes me happy to watch a recoverd depressive enjoy life :)
