i need help, how can I record myself when i'm playing drums, how can i add music in the background, and my drums would be loud anyway? please help

@LinkinParkFan2222222 well to record, just use a regular camera and set it up at a good angle. find one with good audio quality, and you should be set for that. to sync the music, i used iMovie on a mac and lowered the volume of the music accordingly to balance the sound. if you have windows, i guess windows movie maker would get the job done. just import the audio, line it up, and right click on the music track to edit its volume. hope that helped,

man, i mean this from the bottom of my fucking heart dude. I just started drumming 4 months ago and starting out slow with hard rock songs but I like metal more. Seeing you play this is a HUGE inspiration to me, THIS WAS AMAZING! Do you have any tips for a beginner man?

@MetalCraver7 Wow, thanks alot bro. It means alot to me that i could help in someway. I would say the thing that helped me the most was learning how to read notes.I mentally transcribe what i hear into notes in my head, and then play it. so reading music helps alot.Also, i would say get a drum pad and a metronome. that increased my hand speed alot. feet wise, i just pushed my self to learn how to go faster, but metronomes help alot. If u have anymore questions, feel free to ask. hope this helped

@Lcky17 haha thats actually my crap snare now. my main snare is even better (see shoulder of your god drum cover)

Um for me, i just cranked the crap out of it with out breaking them. i also use an Aquarian High Energy head on it. I have a piece of weather stripping on it (it does the same thing as moon gel).

this is actually a tama piccolo snare, and its metal, not wood.

dude great video i jus wish the audio was a lil better. u shud try downloading audacity and useing something to record with. just get likea rock band mic and set it down in frot of ur set and play. then sync up the video with the audio recording and add the music. its rreally easy and will sound alot better. other than that great video =] and merry christmas tomro
