@flightsimtelevision when the wind is blowing from your right and makes you slide to the left (like your first approach), you corrected this by your right rudder, and this is an error. You should have corrected your configuration by left rudder, so your nose would have pointed where the plane was actually going: to the left. Then you would have corrected your heading pointing the nose towards the runway. So you did the opposite thing, and the plane slided more to the right.
@fryanventu the wind is blowing from the right so if i point my nose into the wind it reduces the effect of crosswind if i point against the wind it will just take me with it..
@flightsimtelevision Actually Yes Rudder right even though you road off the runway... The problem with FSX or any of the FS, the stress of landing in a full crab would rip the landing gears right off the bottom of your plane in which case no tires, no friction, no brakes, in the water. This is a prefect example why faster, heavier, larger planes need longer runways. You simply cant just turn and slide for a safe landing. You Rudder out of a crab just before touching down.
@manbal100 you download it then add it to the clip... all i can help you with but, look forward to a video me showing you how i edit my videos, youll figure it out! just remeber to remind me! ;)
@MrSolid95 well i was approaching between 160- 230, i used 230 so i dont drift with wind ;) but when i landed i was at about 145, and the GO AROUND was at 85 so i was drifting in the air, i didn't stall because i was facing the wind after i took off, so it gave me lift, and speed.
wrong rudder when you did the touchdown... :-)
