  • probly just hiding from the sea lions.

  • i wana catch em all hahahaha

  • They are doing something...not spawning...not eating...??? Think!!!

They are grouping to let the females know the population numbers so she knows how many eggs to produce...

  • @cchanderson - nice theory, i like it. On what premise do you base it on? Do you work with sturgeon?

  • @thesturgeonseekers I just have been an outdoors man all my life...sometimes ill sit for 6 hours straight observing muskie feeding at night...I have seen some pretty cool stuff. I historically spend hundreds of hours a year fishing and hunting and observing animals. I do have an environmental degree however...just a undergrad...but I am going to start my masters soon...

I currently work with bugs but I am addicted to figuring out all living things...

  • @cchanderson - Im working on a sturgeon book full of theories and such - if youre interested send me an email to acigifts-at-yahoo-dot-com and ill let ya know when its ready. It also features all 29 species.

  • @cchanderson

Yeah...One living thing that i find very curious is humans such as yourself...Why dont they get a god damn Job instead of watching muskies eat at night?...Next time you see this happening...Jump the hell in and do us all a favor...Save our tax dollars from financing dead beats like you who never pay off the student loans....Imbecile

  • @thesturgeonseekers As far as the theory it just makes sense for a species to only use as much energy as necessary to ensure the survival of the species. Coyotes do the same thing by vocalization, where specie numbers are low the female can have up to ten pups where they are high 2-3 its actually quite common amongst many species.

We need to fund studies for these types of phenomena of our native species the riddle is only so long and solving riddles with one species fills in gaps with another.

  • nice vid!
