@MrMattdennis Yes I can "keep still" while playing but choose not to do so. It would be incorrect to stand stiff and it would produce a thin tone when using the entire bow. Putting your back into your playing is a rudement of good tone production and is a standard technique.

@MissFashionistable Hi, Of course practice very slowly and correct the smallest of errors. Do scales in the same key as that of your piece. Always listen to other violinists that are better than you are. If you put your performance on Youtube and send me a link, I will listen and give you more advice. Good luck on your violin adventure.

This arrangement is my own. Some of the notes are plucked with the left hand. I do not think that any of the currently printed arrangements have that. I also use a thrown bow in a number of places which allow for more speed.

I'm learning this piece for my grade 7 keyboard exam but having trouble reading it. Even my teacher doesn't even know, what does it mean when there is a small symbol like this "//" between two notes? Someone please write back. :s

Usually // means a pause or a breath is to be performed. It also can mean the end a phrase.  Hope this helps.
