  • So wait do you stack supercharger on supercharger and a blower ontop?

  • You can hear the strain the whole system is putting on the engine. It can barely maintain an idle!!! So does this car do anything else but idle?

  • That is ewerybody CO2-terrorist wet day dream.

  • continue: i cant pay for the huge petrol prices and the amount of CO2 those things emmit like any other middle class American, but perhaps American muscles are great for straight line thrills...but sozz if i may have offended anyone.

  • @wazfrmoz yea take a ride down the quarter in a real car, not ur gap shit and I'll realize how stupid u sound

  • @91fiveohnotch awright lets be fair, as an australian i do have alittle bit of V8 blood in me, but all im sayin is that these engines are going to be redundant as stricter emission standards are in place. New japanese cars are actually complying with the stricter regulations, although im not talkin abut the old ones(stock skylines, rx7s, supra's yeah they as worse as the american muscles without the excitement) and perhaps i was a little inappropriate in my comment and plus,

  • Maaan she sure barks

  • man japanese cars rule, these things could only go straight lines, so impractical and not very fun on corners, and i mean common, these cars are fucken for people with small dicks to compensate, bitches jdm rule the circuit....

  • @wazfrmoz If you can turn you're not going fast enough

  • @wazfrmoz tool. people with tiny cars that can go around corners probably bought them for the track, when are you ever going to need to go around a corner at a high speed in real world traffic? bitches american muscle rule the road

  • @pittshnogle look little shit who sits on the computer playig video games which is the closest thing to a sports car, saloon, gt, muslce youll ever get. First ofall you bigot, all cars corner slow, a gtr foes faster than ur best american car in the racetrack and 0 to 60. As for my cheap car thing, unless ur even bigger idiot who pays every penny for a car, i have something called a future/Medicine degree which will get me bigbucks in the future, Have u heard of Mellbouren Uni,probably not.

  • @wazfrmoz bigbucks. k cool. haters gonna hate dude. why watch a video about an AMERICAN MUSCLE car, when you're into faggy import tuners? everyone has their preference, mine so happens to be in muscle cars. yours happens to be ricers. No one ever said you had a cheap car, but now that you say it, you probably do. no need to hate on such a beautiful car. go watch some accord race a civic. there's plently of those

  • You'll just have to drive with your head out the window lol

  • This guy must have the smallest penis, why the fark would anyone have 2 blowers.

  • How gay looking is this why 2 well probably cause he's gay.

  • One, that black phone on the left is the same as mine!!! :D Two, no WAY that's street legal!!!

  • if you look at 1:22

look at the red neck loving the view

  • Look close and you can make out some ricers orbiting around the top blower.

  • that got boring real fast. would have been nice to see it drive

  • looked like hemi valve covers?....no one said what it was......I have some toys called Zingers that look like that.....

  • If dis car had wings I bet it can fly

  • just curious, what causes the fast then slow reving? and another question, wouldnt the top supercharger have to try and push its compressed air past the lower one??

i bet the motor would make a lovely BANG if it ever did decide to take a vacation.

  • @bikr1975 Its called blower serge. As I understand it it's caused by a rich/lean cycle at idle. When the engine goes lean it causes the rpm's to rise a bit, which tends to richen the mixture a bit and causes the rpm's to fall, then in leans out again and the cycle repeats.

  • Roots superchargers work by trapping pockets of air between the rotors and case then forcing them into the plenum were they "stack up" (increase in density) When one blower feeds another like this it's just feeding it denser than atmospheric air to be further compressed (increase it density even further) before feeding it to the engine. "Towers of power" like these are usually just for show because they tend to be very inefficient, they add a lot of heat to the air they compress.

  • @Warblade118 why does my 1.3 litre do it?

  • @mailmanbam a 1.3L what? You really want me to try and diagnose it over the internet with only "its a 1.3L" for info? Be like telling a doctor on the other side of the country that its hurts when I do this, then asking what's wrong with me?

  • @Warblade118 its a fuel injected 4 cylinder 1.3 litre sohc N/A daihatsu motor

  • @mailmanbam ...well there's your problem.

  • cookie20ful, Im Australian right but I still love ford's better because for these reason's,

    1. Holden is a part of general motor's.

    2. They tried to copy the Pontiac GTO.

    3. If there so Australian then why is there a lion on the badge.

    4. Unlike ford you's have never flown a plane.

    5. You's haven't even made a super car unlike ford.

    6. You's can't even make a simple good old truck.

The only good thing that holden has made is the holden maloo.

  • I like how everyone keeps claiming on this vids comments that Ford is so great and chevy sucks, if any of the chevy bashers had half a brain they would notice that this little girls pony is powered by a Chysler Hemi..

  • What does the licence plate say...? 2 inches? lol

  • @unsoughtmeat cause that's all he's got!

  • Aussie cars hmmm yeah we DO IT BETTER!! take a crap Yank car and nut it up!!!! but i still think Mr.PSI holden ute is better!!! Fuck ya ford shite!!!

  • @cookie20ful Oh this an aussie car made in Australia!

  • I like this better than the GTO...well it is a HEMI & injected versus carb'd, though wouldn't that set-up be cool in a 70 'Cuda?

  • Crazy A Bit of Over KILL ? Some People Have Too Much>J,,,k 1 to100 Total 0

  • That is FUCKING bad ASS

  • did anyone hear that.... yup 8gpm(gallons per mile)

  • hahah that thing is searching so hardcore

  • that looks fucken UGLY, but fast!

give props to the guy who did this XD

  • and one more thing... those aren't twin... they're sequential

  • can some one explain to me what the hell is the point of doing this crap?

I can understand twin turbos, have a quicker spooling response time, but two chargers? it just looks like one of those things you have to do to prove you can do it but its actually quite pointles... like licking your elbow kinda sheeeeeeet....

    really dumb

  • @smtbbo Whats the point of doing anything to your car at all. People do it cause its there , that the reason. Interestingly though Carroll Shelby built 2 Twin Supercharged AC SC 427 Cobras ,, one for him and one for Bill Cosby. They produced around 900hp and although that output can be easily achieved easily these days with EFI and turbos it was a huge engineering feat in the 60's with just carbies , points and no computer chips. So why would Carroll Shelby do it , cause it hadn't been done

  • if that car pulls up next to me at a stop light i would turn my car off

  • sick ass motor exactly like mine....

  • 1970 gtos better

  • damn that is one scary motor

  • TOTALLY AWESOME!!

  • this car could strait up blow the tires off with that kind of off the line torque. it could blow up the tranny and rear end all in one shot. I'll bet it has a 9'' ford under it.

  • what's the point of 2 chargers if there's no intercooling between them.. Your just doubling heat and making less power

  • @APHID008 Exactl;y right. Very outdated and unsophisticated engine, old american technology at its very worst..

  • You wouldn't know a good motor if it landed in your fuckin lap

  • @APHID008 it also takes more power from the engine just to turn the superchargers so the engine is only probably putting out 60hp in non spent power however the superchargers are probably multiplying that 60hp by 10

  • @APHID008 I rely don't think he built this to race. it's just a show peice that actualy runs so quit scratching your head

  • sounds like shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

  • @Alshaytan666 Why? because it doesn't have a big 6 inch poop shooter and doesn't go " Braaap ap ap"

  • Hey, it's the 1970s on the phone, they want their fuel technology and idle stability back. Thanks.

  • Not really a mustang fan, but that is sick for sure.

  • Yeah, but... why do that...? Two blowers creates twice as much drag on the crank shaft... then you have to compensate for that with higher rotor overdrive... The purpose of producing horse power is defeated. It all comes down to a ratio between manafold pressure and engine drag. I guess this guy just wants to have a car that "looks bad"... then gets out performed on the track. Look at me... I got two blowers...!!! Bravo...!

  • @ThomasDeLello thats almost like saying running 2 prochargers are a waist....they take more power to turn over, but once they spool, they more then make up the diff in power v's drag....noone cares wat it takes away at idle...

  • @StreetStylz56 but 2 prochargers wouldn't be in series where one is pushing air through the other. they would both be the same size and driven at the same speed. the blower on top is creating heat aswell as paracitic drag. I "think" it would come down to the volume of air capable of moving through the 2nd blower since you could overdrive and get to whatever boost level you want with one supercharger. hmmm

  • @ztwntyn8 different sized pulleys on on the snouts of the blowers.

  • @castellscl right but wouldn't you the lower would suck the boost out of the upper unless it was driven more quickly than the lower. Which would make the lower blower the limiting factor.... I just don't realy get it except for the asthetic aspect.

  • @ThomasDeLello It is true that the 2 blowers are eating up the HP that they are producing. But i have been in the car audio industrie for 15 yrs and have been to so maney shows i couldn't even count them out. i believe that he built this just for show, and it runs. remember having hot wheels cars that had these crazy looking motors. i rely don't think he built this to take to the track. just an eye catcher

  • what a monster but very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love how he idles but doesnt open it up even once. haha

  • hey thats gary myers silver bullit

  • Aw come on, one supercharger wasn't enough for ya?

  • whats the horsepower rating on it?

  • @screeminjimmy027 damn nice>>> wish i could put that on my honda cb7>>> but then, my cars will always be covered and hidden in my garage or Malaysia's Road and Transportation Department will always be on its tail with sirens hailing>>

    hahaha>>>

  • a JDM mustang ?

  • Only a retarded person would think this gimmick is cool. Cheese mod.

  • While this engine may not really need the 2 blowers to supply enough air to give the desired HP, It does LOOK COOL!! and thats the whole idea behind it.

Note also that twin turbos or bigger superchargers are not always better. Nothing is perfect.

Sorry for the 3 posts, could not fit it all in 1.

  • As for these compressors not giving much boost to begin with, thats all relative to the size of the container you are trying to compress the air into.

Superchargers dont work by accelerating the air, what they do is compress the air. Air velocity has nothing to do with getting more air into a cylinder except for an "air ram" effect and is essentially controlled by the plenum length and volume any way.

  • One is an 8/71 the other is a 6/71. Its called 2 stage compression. Air compressors (the ones used in industry for compressing air other than the use of engines) use this theory allot. The first compressor compresses bulk air and pumps this compressed air into a smaller compressor which then compresses this air further giving more "boost" more efficiently than 1 large supercharger. Less heat is generated and less energy is required to drive it.

  • i want to see the video of people trying to put the hood on this car :P

  • That's the most asinine thing I have ever seen. You could get more boost from twin turbochargers and still see where you're going.

  • looks fucken ugly so red neck

  • wut kinda numbers is it puttin down?

  • A supercharger on top of another supercharger, it sounds retarded when you think about it and yet so simple. Mind boggling.

  • Lol nice flames. Oh wait I forgot they make the car go faster. Stupid me.

  • Sigh. Not a practical way to run 2 superchargers. If you have to have 2, why not run them in a siamese setup, unless all this amounts to is "my stack of superchargers is taller than yours." I wonder how long it will be before someone decides to stack three or four superchargers on top of each other?

  • looks kinda dumb,better to get a 14/71 blower

  • can he see over that blower?

  • You know all the import communist are hating the video.

  • lurching sound is gay.

  • HAHA all that work...and its still a FORD at heart!!!!! and I think one supercharger would work much better than two, unless its purely for show, it probly takes more power to turn both superchargers and drag the extra weight than it makes over having a single.....

  • Comment removed

  • @TacticalSuperRebel Yeah, I can't see how two super chargers stacked is any better than one. They don't give much boost to begin with and if the air is already being accelerated at a certain speed, how can another supercharger boost it more? It's not like a small turbocharger feeding a large tubocharger.. Proper twin superchargers would be one for each cylinder bank and obviously not look retarded, such as this.

  • I love that sound... That engine is crazy! never heard of twin super charged?!?!

  • is it a good idea to put a blower on a mud truck engine?

  • @makou8 sure you dont needa put a huge bird catcher but a suepr charger is perfectly fine

  • Nice show car.

  • some people have too much money that they waste on stupid shit like this set up

  • @Auszug21 what is so stupid about this ? this might be one of the baddest ass fords on the planet

  • @Auszug21

i have to agree, the same money that was spent on a custom setup like this could have been used to build a turbo setup, it would make WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more power, and without the annoying idle surge. But to each his own i suppose.

  • this thing prolly runs low 11's. 2 blowers are pointless

  • @johnny66o1 two super chagers

  • @johnny66o1

    Completely ignorant statement

  • is that street legal??? lol

  • @strikefr12 only in kentucky and alabama

  • what happens if theres a corner in the way ?

  • you turn the wheel tap the brake and drift it

  • yes i do know a hemmi is a v8 y u think i wona put 1 in a skyline r33 people say it cant be dun well iv seen it dun

  • that is actually a hemi, look at the heads

  • 9 seconds to start. Count them - NINE.

Mmm yeah, that's a quality engine, isn't it!

Meanwhile the Japanese, even the Europeans ffs, build motors that whoop this in terms of speed, acceleration, BHP, economy and torque. But more importantly they start in under a second.

    AND they idle properly.

So why are people spluffing in their pants over this POS?

Imagine if your everyday car took that long to start! I expect they need to take spare batteries everywhere just to get the thing fired up.

  • it takes so long because it takes awhile for the fule cycle to get goin.. meanwhile that engine is probaly taller than a japanese person..think about it fuck tard! and lets see you lil hundai beat that beast.. he would still catch you after 9 seconds on the drag strip..

  • @davetibbs where are you counting 9 seconds to start this engine. also this car was built as a show peice, not to take to the track. it's just a crowd pleaser

  • @jasonneal From when the starter starts turning at 0:01(you can hear it) to when the engine actually fires at 0:10 = 9 seconds.

And when it does start, the constant revving might sound like it's done to "please the crowd" but it's clearly just to stop it stalling.

The Japanese and Europeans can and have built forced induction cars (both turbo and supercharged) for years now that will idle rock solid at 850rpm without the idle "hunting" like shit. Why is it so hard for the Americans with V8s?

  • @davetibbs oh sorry, i didn't have my volume up enough to hear it. so maybe you should build a car with dual super charger and show us dumb Americains how it's done... also can you send me a link that shows me a honda, bmw, toyota, ect that will run in the high 3's in the 1/4 mile ?

  • @jasonneal

    That's what I'm talking about...They're just jealous

  • @davetibbs It's constantly revving because it's cammed, the timing is different.

  • @davetibbs This isnt an american built car mate! Its Gary Myers showcar, nicknamed "the silver bullet!" ... it dosnt idle well because its had the fuck worked out of it and the cam timing is so advanced to make enormous power!!!

  • @davetibbs Quit trying to sound like an expert. I've been working on professional dragsters for 7-8 years now and still have plenty to learn. That 'revving' you're referring to is blower surge. It's not controlled by the driver. If you think American V8's can't handle forced induction without blower surge, you're a complete idiot. Sorry to be so abrasive, but don't bash on American V8's when you clearly have no clue what you're talking about.

  • Ya I do actually search the wild child and also if you put hemi pistons, crank, and heads and a cam aka that's a hemi it's not tenictly a ford anymore

  • Jackass ford made a hemi too. Stick to your lawnmowers and tractors Johdeereman.

  • well that sound got real annoyong after bout a minute....

  • hemmis will out do a v8 and any uther motor

  • @tennisontynan1 You realize a Hemi typically is a V8?

  • @howtowakeakar My Toyota 20R is a inline four-cylinder hemi. So.. no, I didn't realize a hemi is typically a V8. Hey wait, my dad's Jaguar is a hemi inline six-cylinder.. again, i didn't realise hemi engines are typically V8..

    baahahahahhahah

  • @Nza420 the only engines that were made as hemi's are V8. i think you are getting over head cam motors and hemi's confused. Hemi's are push rod engines

  • @jasonneal sorry, you are the one that is confused. "Hemi" refers to the shape of the combustion chamber (you know, hemispherical).

  • @Nza420 Sorry mate your wrong. The motor is a 392 straight methonal hemi which came out of a boat. The top blower is an 871 and the bottom blower ia a 671 set up at 14 psi

and he said he could crank it up to around 40 psi he also said it has never been dynode but the car would be around 1000 hp and around 800 foot pounds of torque

  • @BrianDewy No, sorry mate, you're wrong. Hemi is the first part of the word "hemisphere," which means half of a sphere (or "ball" shape, if that illustrates it better for you). Get a clue, you sound ignorant.

Any cylinder head with a hemispherical combustion chamber can be called a "hemi." Look inside an engine sometime, why don't you?

  • @Nza420 No shit sherlock , who said anything about what a Hemi is , I was stating what the motor is. Could be any block with HEMI heads on it. HEMI spherical heads were designed in the 40's they aren't new and they are good for big capacity engine and limited to pretty much that. They have plenty of disadvantages as well , like you cannot have multi valve HEMI as the design angles are impossible to allow for more that 2 valves and way to complex therefore outdated and less efficient these days.

  • @BrianDewy If you read the comments, you would know who said something about what a hemi is.

  • @BrianDewy I,ve been told the bottom case is hollow, that it has no rotors in it(only for show)

  • @68bobba Oh ok i read the information off a site that was his

  • @Nza420 yep true story lol

  • @Nza420 you are correct sir

  • @jasonneal Uhm... Nearly every modern OHC and DOHC engine has hemispherical combustion chambers (HEMI) you know. It has nothing to do with the valvetrain, it's only the shape of the combustion chamber which makes a HEMI. Germans were building hemi engines long before americand did this, Chrysler just called their engines Hemi so everybody thinks it's something special - It isn't...

  • @MrLowAltitude YEAH! The Germans were building hemis back when the swiss were helping the nazis steal and hide the jews' money!

  • @kenfo0 Actualy, they were even earlyer. It was invented around 1900-1905 I think. At the same time, the swiss invented the turbocharger. In 1910-20 many european manufacturers built hemi engines for their racing cars.

American HEMI's came on the market nearly 40 years later...

As I said. Chrysler just called their engines Hemi so everybody thinks it's something special but it was invented way back in history by europeans.

  • @MrLowAltitude chrysler made the idea famous when they made the 426 cu.in./425 hp hemi. It was awesome.

  • @jasonneal not really he is right, although mopar marketed the name hemi 60 pct of modern cars contain a hemispherical head design why not put the spark next to the fuel?

  • Actually, there have been some billet "Ford" motors built with hemi heads and pistons. Its more common in the racing scene.

  • @CreamCornJr yeah their called semi-hemi

  • Scroll down, guys are saying that's a big ford motor, never knew that they made a hemi

  • Hey dumbasses this is a hemi it's not a ford motor I could almost gaurantee that this motor was built by sassy raceing engines cuz I have 5 of these same motors sitting on my unlimited mod pulling tractor only my motors have one huge blower

  • Hey johndeereman, nobody said this was a ford motor.

  • @johndeereman451 your an idiot... guarantee you dont own that and this is a big block ford with 2 blowers... any big block can be built this way moron

  • Cam LSA causes the lopeing effect......the cam's indexing causes valves to open and close at different times, look it up maybe you'll learn something

  • Superchargers take horsepower to make horsepower, so at an idle, its not making that much power, so it almost wants to stall..

  • :-/ uhm

  • the idle like that is caused by a lean/rich idle. it is very common to see that on cars with blowers.

  • so fuck I sounds ansing I love the sound of a supercharger

  • that surging is so fuckin annoying

  • You're comments are annoying.

  • Really dumb.

  • so drive it.

  • There is a Pontiac GTO with twin blowers on it on You Tube. Both functional. Owner took one off after awhile. This here is nothing new. Once again blower surge is NOT the cam shaft, the engine / carbs need better tuning. Listen to a video of EFI blown engines. They idle without this dramatic surging. Just because it has a hemi , twin blowers and sounds bad doesn't mean it is fast. Still it took alot of work to make this combo any way you look at it.

  • So you like it or don't? And I like the point that it lopes, it just means it has a big cam, and probably a good amount of power. Even though 2 blowers don't make any more power than one, I do agree on that.

  • With forced air induction with carb/s it takes alot of tuning to have the engine run properly. The carbs are going rich/lean causing the blower surge. This isn't caused by the cam. Obviously the owner likes the look. Like I said earlier, it still took alot of work to make this combo run.

  • On naturally aspirated engines they can lope too. They just need a big cam. A guy I knew had a Cuda that would squawk the tires in 2nd when it would lope. It isn't necessarily bad tuning, just not fuel injected.

  • Why is the blower surging?

  • it's not the blower surging. they have the idle on the motor set way low.

  • Why would a low idle make it "surge".

  • @BIG468RAT Thats because on the EFI motors the computer can manage the entire engine and compinsate the changes from idle to red line. on carb motor that are that hot, they get tuned to their primary operating range due to the size of the jetting in the carbs and timming for the cam

  • One super charger is probably gutted. Why push 12 psi through something that will only produce 12psi?

  • @davejalenderki

    gonna have to agree here.

  • that is fucking useless yet looks cool at the same time.

  • hemi in a mustang

  • thats a hemi

  • A ford, hemispherical head, hemi.

  • when did a ford come out with a hemi,,,i dont think that they ever did

  • @MegaCamshaft thats what i was thinkin... looks a bit too... modern? for the old flathead ford!

  • Ardun heads for the Ford Flathead were perhaps the first use of a hemispherical head on a readily available American V8. First offered in 1947 as an aftermarket product, these heads converted the Ford Flathead to overhead valves operating in a hemispherical chamber. Ford produced an engine with two overhead cams and hemispherical chambers in the 1960s. The engine, displacing 425 cu in and belonging to the FE family of Ford engines, was the "427 SOHC" also known as the Cammer.

  • @Blackinterceptor999 SHHHHH!!! you'll hurt the chevy guys feelings. They don't want to know that Ford is responsible for bringing performance to the everyday person.
