There are tons of things to do in Turkey! Hot air ballooning in Cappadocia, shopping in the Grand Bazaar, boating on the Bosporus, eat incredible Turkish cuisine, have your wounds cleaned by leeches and my personal favorite, watch Turkish oil wrestling.
I was lucky enough to marry a Turk, she is a wonderful person as are the Turks. I get to go at least once a year, but you saw a lot on one trip, make another trip back, it only gets better.
If Americans knew more about Turkey, they'd visit. I had to be convinced to go. Otherwise I never would have gone. I hope to go back next in the fall of 2008.
