I get the sensitivity thing as well. My GUESS is that the scalp has been manipulated so little that it gets super-sensitive. When I wash my locs and the water from the showerhead hits directly on my scalp (like on a parts) it feels...I don't think I could describe it has pain, but it's an odd feelings. Anyway...
I swear I just rocked my locs like this to a party Sat night! I too had 3wk old loc knot curls & needed a retwist but wanted to style it a bit for the party & this is what I came with! It was super cute just like yours. ; )
oh em gee!! i thought i was the only one!!! my hair has ALWAYS been like that...when i was young and would get extensions, when i had too much new growth they had to come out STAT because my scalp would just hurt so much. i just celebrated my 3 year anniversary with my locs and the pain continues...moving them in any way makes my scalp hurt. its why i could never be a free former...
Very nice! I like side swept hair styles. It keeps me from being leaning on my hair and it Keeps people from touching it, especially when I am on mass transportation. Thanks for sharing.
