I think he has chance this year to get in, but the catch is he never was flashy back. Any one who looks up at his stats will be shocked to see him having more yards than Jerome Bettis and other backs. He was extremely consistent as a player.
He is a better all around back than Jerome Bettis despite I feel both of them need to get in. Curtis Martin should get in by 2020, if not there needs to be major changes to who votes for players getting in.

One of the classiest and most consistent backs of all time. Always underrated b/c he wasn't flashy and loud like a lot of players. It was an honor watching him play for my team and will always be my favorite Jet.
