I love this style of playing.

While I don't like fingerstyle genere so much (I don't mean picking technique) when it gets more "celtic" or "early" I love to play and listen to it.

Focus on notes endings rather than on their beginnigs. Such manner makes music more fluid and this is the mindset of an experienced, pro musician. Check out this lesson, it helped me a lot it deals with emotion and timing:
