Although the opening sequence to season 1 of The Splits was widely believed to have been shot in King's Island, Ohio, this was not so (it didn't open until 1972). However, to compound things, several rides were shipped from K.I. to Coney Island, Cinncinatti following a flood, this is where sequences for season 2 were shot. Most of the amusement parks shots for season one were filmed at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington,

I love these "music videos" they filmed at Six Flags Over Texas! Brings back memories of growing up going to that wonderful park. I recently found one episode on Boomerang that showed the outside of the long lost "The Cave" (Speelunkers Cave) ride which was great to come across. It is a hidden gem inside of another old tv memory.

I put the splits tv logo on all the vidoes i have posted to stop people from copying the videos on you tube. if they want to copy and reproduce discs from this site they will get my logo.

Hi Spongebob, some of the songs were repated 2 times in the Banana splits adventure hour aka banana splits and friends show.

there is a different series for both usa and uk. also the opening credits were different too.

i am trying to source to uk opening credits so i can post it on my site else i'll make it as i have the clips used in the credits.

it is just going to take a few hours to peice it all together.

Yeah, that second version was the Sour Grapes Bunch messenger girls, all of whom were named "Charlie" IIRC. Besides, did you know the late Barry White was a performer on this song?
