  • excellent finds, the 'lord of the rings' fan will be very upset that they lost that ring.

  • @ArcturanMegadonkey - thanks very much Paul no doubt you are right. All the best on your next outing and good luck!

  • Somebody must have already commented on this - the ring with the writing is, I believe, a Lord of the Rings - one ring replica. So, I guess you'll be off to Mordor soon. Congratulations on 2 gold rings in one hunt! I have yet to find one this year.

    HH

  • @Biofilmz - yes several people have identified the ring for me glad I didn't try and get someone to interpret the writing I would have looked a fool! Thank you for commenting and watching my videos.

  • What a great dig Willo!! Those two gold rings were incredible targets, not to mention the huge haul of 'goldies'!!! That was one heck of a good detecting day for you and even the junk rings would have been nice for me! lol GL and HH!!

  • @MrTerritorian1 - thank you I am sure some true goldies will come your way!

  • fantastic hunt willo.congrats on the two gold rings.

  • @MichaelSwan66 - thanks again Michael and for watching my videos I love your beach hunts!

  • What a couple of cracking hunts. Heartiest congratulations on all those awesome finds. To find all those goldies would be good enough, but to locate the cool silver and the bronze/copper pennies and half pennies and the fifty cent pieces too, along with the other odds and ends, brilliant. But the gold just caps it all, mega cool finds. If I could I'd like to shake you by the hand, Wow!!! You're doing magnificently, Willo. GL & HH :D

  • @fluoridekid - thanks again Fluoridekid much appreciated.

  • You have found the one ring that rules them all! That is elvish writing on the ring. Be careful not to put it on or you could end up like Gollum, Haha! Great hunt and awesome finds, thanks for sharing.

  • Willo,

Mate you never miss on those small silvers mate. Good to see you and Jarhead doing some great work together.

  • holy mackeral man that is some seriously awesome hunting right there!!! Congrats on the silvers and of course your GOLD wooohooo!!

  • Congrats on the two rings...I'm still searching for my first one !!!

  • that was an awesome hunt

    Congrats

    HH

  • Well done Willo, I also realised the writing on the ring was Elven "one ring to rule them all". From now on, You'll be able to wear it and when someone walks in the park, all they will see is a detector swinging by itself.

  • 2 Excellent hunts - with Hunt No.2 being magnificent. Justin must have wrapt at the finds...like I'm certain you were too. Brilliant..brilliant,,and once more brilliant. Actually - I think getting two Gold rings in the one hunt...elevates you to "Legendary" status. I'm going to show Mrs Iroc - that will get me pushed out the door - no problem. Setting the bar pretty high mate. Well done to you Jarhead & Justin. Great Day for all. Cheers GL & HH

  • @IrocOn2 - thanks very much Iroc! It was an amazing day thats 4 gold rings for me for the year so they are certainly out there. I am sure that Melbourne would have heaps of them so Mrs iroc let the man go and find some gold!!!!

  • Hi Willo, the ring with the foreign looking writing on it is a Lord of the Rings replica. Well done! Great finds!

  • @rugerguyau - thanks very much for the identification of the ring - I would have looked a pill had a tried to get someone to interpret the foreign language. All the best for your hunts!

  • The cap with the cross bar on the top. is a fuel or Oil fill cap. The is piece holds a chain with with a cross bar so it can't be pulled out of the Reservoir ,and be lost. The could them the cap would hang by the side of the pipe. fuel cans sometime have this same set up.HH

  • @dirtymouthdon - thank you very much for the identification much appreciated and thanks for watching my videos!
