Honestly, I like the acting; it's not as wonderful as we'd like, but I think it's completely in tune with the theme and mood of the movie. Not my favorite version, but I like it all the same.
"it is indeed a french word...." hahahaha, such humor.
This is such a well made version, I love it. Even if not entirely true to the book, it's still quite wonderful; the emotions, the script, the air in the movie...just excellent.
I have always like Peter Ustinov as I guess what most would consider the comical Poirot. But Suchet (IMO) was the more in the genera of great detective.
Boy I wish we had a time machine: It would have been great to see Lauren Bacall come back here to play the role of the Princess. I like the Mean looks that Poirot gives everyone.
@robertquentincobb Did Bacall play the dowager princess in some old film? But if she did, then why would you want that? It has already been done, and a repeat is of no interest.
Entnervende Musikuntermalung.
This Miss Olson is *far* too pretty! In the novel, Miss Olson is supposed to be a rather plain and frumpy middle-aged woman.

Other than Suchet, a bunch of unconvincing, boring, dull figures....rubbish acting and extremely bad accents.

@robertquentincobb really? I thought Bacall wasn't good at all (well in fact, I don't find her a good actress)
