  • slap that bass man!

  • I discovered this record in 1982 when I was working at an import record store and after that I played it every week at the Roxy in Amsterdam and the crowd went crazy, the best floorfiller ever!

  • This is a puuuuure juicy gem! Whenever i close my eyes to this tune i just CAN'T HELP seeing groovy ghosts dancing and funkin with style

  • funk

  • i walked into this for my barmitzvah

  • great bass line! :-)

  • Isn't this the best disco song ever recorded in the history of mankind?

  • anyone got the bass tabs?

  • THE GOOD OLD TIMES...

  • I like this version better.

  • this version sounds so much better then the one i have heard. hell yea! move your feet!

  • Great track at the beginning of the electro era. "Q" was one of the first bands in this spectrum but it's a pity I never heard anything else of them!

I never forget when Tony Prince announced this tune on his RTL Top 20 Import Show. After that weekend I baught the record in the Netherlands at my favourite record-shop & on the next Saturday it filled my dancefloor under foggy blue light.

This track sounds a little bit more mimalistic but my 12" got the power which was needed in 1982.

  • Doug Gibsey's basswork here reminds me of Mark King from 'Level 42'!!
