"Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people," . Barack Hussein Obama
Obama has been in bed with Jew haters and Islamic jihad for years. Farrakhan and his dear friend Reverend Wright, Obama's spiritual guru, is a vile Jew hater. Obama is the first Presidential candidate endorsed by Hamas. He is the toast of the Islamic world. Obama's foreign policy advisers have all taken a page from the Dhimmi Carter playbook
How come Mr. McCain can't come up with any solutions to the economic crisis? Why did the BBC, earlier this week, call his VP pick, Ms. Palin, "AN INTERNATIONAL LAUGHING STOCK"?
You know why. Because Mr. Obama's time has come. After 8 years of lies and distortions, after 8 years of deregulating the banks, after 8 years of listening to that shaved monkey, George W. ... the time has come for an intelligent person to take office. Obama or Clinton, either one would be fine, with Biden backing them up.
Did you know that Obama sent a representative to the federal banking meeting this past weekend to find out about this weeks crisis? McCain was invited, too. But he didn't send anyone. That tells me Obama has more interest in helping our economy. How can you create a sound economic policy without being involved in meetings to find out what is going on and why it's happening? I give props to Obama for at least making an effort.
I have a feeling it isn't a close race. They may be manipulating the numbers for us to believe its a close race. Some people get discouraged and more likely not to vote if its close which can cause voting fraud. Look at the crowds Obama attracts in contrast to both McCain and Palin together. Deception is the only way McCain can win. Other countries have larger voter turn out. Why don't people vote? Because they lost faith in government.
The media loves a "close" horserace -- it causes "excitement" and anxiety and gets readers/viewers to tune in. So I don't doubt that the numbers are presented in a ;ight most favorable to that end.
Checkurself......I really hope that you're right in thinking that the race isn't that close.
There should really be no doubt about it....it's got to be Obama....but racism and fear of change are powerful factors and the GOP will hope that they are both working in their favour.
If McSame gets in there will be a war with Iran. That would be a major disaster and God knows how many Americans would be killed........all in the name of Israel.
The reason why I think it isn't close is because Obama attacks more crowds the McCain and Palin together. Also so many people are registering to vote in record numbers...more than any presidential election. The closer it is...the easier to steal an election. Look at McCain, he is awkward, bland, and has no character. The Republicans are scrambling to disenfranchise voters and the same time saying that they are change as if there wasn't a Republican in the White House.
Agree. This shouldn't be a close race, and we, the rest of the world, go: "How stupid are you?" It's frustrating. The president of the USA is our leader too, but we don't have a vote. And then we see the people of America make their decisions based on who is more "average joe". Great. Thanks a lot. Why would you want somebody who is like you? You; are stupid. This guy is educated enough to actually make weighted judgement on these serious issues, that kind of decisions are not for everybody!
How in the hell is this thing even close? Really? He is so cerebral and articulate on his depth of understanding of issues, particularly the economy. You listen to McCain, or worse, Palin, and you get nothing but prepared sound bites and superficiality personified. NO DEPTH or UNDERSTANDIng of anything. It really is like Bush 3rd.
He knows his stuff. He needs to get his bags packed and give this same rally in Ohio. It is in need of an economic answer not the confused rhetoric of a candidate who said earlier this year he didnt know a thing about the economy. GO OBAMA/BIDEN 08
It's true that Phil Gramm and McCain are in bed with each other, in fact Gramm he's a financial adviser of McCain's. They both support deregulation. And Obama speaks the truth. If you don't want to see that Obama is really for "we the people" and strengthening our middle class that's your problem.
Huh? Are people just deliberately ignoring Obama's remarkable record because they don't want to hear it? It's not hidden. For an easy Utube sized bite, check out the most recent video on thefrankfactor channel - then do your own research. Obama has done more with less than anyone else in the race.
And?...not the point. He has talked talked talked. Maybe he has done some stuff. But it makes no difference. It's about what he wants to do in the future. Everything he is saying now and promising is a LIE. you shall see.
I'm reassured that you're not a neocon and have more respect for you as a 3rd party person. Although I think Obama is anything but trash, I do appreciate you expressing yourself more civilly.
I feel that words are very powerful and should be used with respect. That way, we don't drive the discourse into the mud. Which presidential candidate do you think is a change agent, and why?
Right. Obama isn't an agent of change. He knows as a black man to know his place. That he couldn't possibly have a chance of winning national office, such as the presidency. That's why he has never made and is not now making the effort to do so.
Right? Isn't that why he's at the top of the ticket of one of the two major parties? Because he isn't an agent of change?
No: I'm saying not only that he has as much right as nearly anyone else, but also that he's an agent of change. For those concerned with such things as race, they only need look at him and they see he is obviously an agent of change.
There is also the fundamental differnce between the two major parties. Republicans avoid military service and start wars--and claim to be "strong on defense". Democrats serve in the military--and care about domestic issues instead of ignoring them.
I like how Hillary was on TV telling everyone that she was warning about the Fannie Mae mess for months when in fact both BUSH and McCain had been fighting to regulate the company for YEARS but were blocked by the Democrats. Barney Frank said Bush only wanted to hurt poor people by going after Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Now it looks like all the Democrats that worked there stuffed their pockets with millions and left the Tax payer with the bill and to boot now blame Bush for the mess they made.
Interesting criterion: one or a few of a given race assault me, so I hate ALL of that race. By that criterion, I should hate ALL whites and blacks -- BASED ON RACE. THAT is racism.
Actually you're wrong. Hopefully within the next twenty years you'll achieve sufficient maturity to both discern the differneces betweeen the two major parties, and thus stop wasting your vote on pie-in-the-sky third parties that aren't going anywhere mainstream because they are extreme/fringe.
LISTEN UP & TAKE HEART! - Obama has the largest donor base in the history of US elections! - Obama set fundraising record for single month AUG08 - 66million. Avg gift <$100. No PAC/Lobbyist money! - Active US troops donate to Obama 6:1 over McCain. SEE: opensecrets. org/news/2008/08/troops-deployed-abroad-give-61. html - How will the Obama tax plan affect you? (vs McCain's) SEE: alchemytoday. com/obamataxcut/ DONATE TODAY also, Wasilla: 7000. Alaska: 683000. Chicago: 2.8 million!
But what specifically are Mr. Obama's plans? I wish he would have stated them in more detail. That would assure me more. At this point I am leaning toward Mr. Nadar in this election.
Watch the last 5 minutes of Part 1. Then go and read all the bills he has been trying to get bipartisan support for and you will know what his plans are. Nader is nothing but a vote for McCain. His chances of winning are worst then a super lotto but with McCain we are all guaranteed a 1 in a billion chance of stability, growth and peace.
Do your research on the candidates and seriously THINK about who to vote for. ALOT of young people like myself WISH we are old enough to vote. We made youtube, myspace & facebook a phenomenon. So who says the young voters can't make it happen?? We can all unite for CHANGE. PLEASE cast your votes wisely! PLEASE.
YES we can must now become YES WE MUST!! Please Americans, vote with your heads and hearts, not on some "Maverick personality'.... this is the time to take back America.
LOL. At 7:35 , Obama accused McCain of the oldest Washington stunt in the book, you pass the buck to a commission to study the problem.
A year and a half later, on 2/18/10, Obama creates the new National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform to study the problem.

5. We must crack down trading activities that crosses the line of market manipulation
6. We have to establish a process that identifies systemic risk to the financial system.
DETAILED OBAMA ECONOMIC PLAN OUTLINE = 6
DETAILED MCCAIN ECONOMIC PLAN OUTLINE = 0
The only numbers that make more sense than current poll numbers!

What I got from Obama from this speech (his words, verbatim...or 'exactly', for slow McCain supporters)
1. If you're a financial institution that can borrow from the government, you should be subject to government oversight & supervision
2. We must reform requirements on all regulated financial government institutions
3. We need to streamline our regulatory agencies
4. We need to regulate institutions for what they do, not what they are

God forbid that you don't!
On a lighter note, if you don't, can you send him over here? 80% of Brits back him. We'd be overjoyed to have him.
The world is watching, anxiously. And hopefully! Do the right thing & make Barack your President.
There'll be a global party the likes of which the world has never seen on the day of his election. The prospect of his defeat is not an option.
