1. If you're a financial institution that can borrow from the government, you should be subject to government oversight & supervision

2. We must reform requirements on all regulated financial government institutions

3. We need to streamline our regulatory agencies

4. We need to regulate institutions for what they do, not what they are

Did you know that Obama sent a representative to the federal banking meeting this past weekend to find out about this weeks crisis? McCain was invited, too. But he didn't send anyone. That tells me Obama has more interest in helping our economy. How can you create a sound economic policy without being involved in meetings to find out what is going on and why it's happening? I give props to Obama for at least making an effort.

I have a feeling it isn't a close race. They may be manipulating the numbers for us to believe its a close race. Some people get discouraged and more likely not to vote if its close which can cause voting fraud. Look at the crowds Obama attracts in contrast to both McCain and Palin together. Deception is the only way McCain can win. Other countries have larger voter turn out. Why don't people vote? Because they lost faith in government.

The reason why I think it isn't close is because Obama attacks more crowds the McCain and Palin together. Also so many people are registering to vote in record numbers...more than any presidential election. The closer it is...the easier to steal an election. Look at McCain, he is awkward, bland, and has no character. The Republicans are scrambling to disenfranchise voters and the same time saying that they are change as if there wasn't a Republican in the White House.

There is also the fundamental differnce between the two major parties. Republicans avoid military service and start wars--and claim to be "strong on defense".  Democrats serve in the military--and care about domestic issues instead of ignoring them.
