I am very happy to see the vidoe The miCoach Pacer is designed to help people achieve 2010 fitness goals from you, hopefully the others also are happy for You
I've been using the micoach system now for 4 months and i can tell that it's quite a good and recommendable system to get yourself coached to an adequate fitness level for average running or other sports. But as i'm getting more ambitous and my workouts take longer in time and distance i have to say that micoach is not realy compareable to a professional heart-rate monitor system like a garmin forerunner or polar.
@TheSirCadillac The best thing about micoach: it is motivating like hell. You just can't wait to get back on the road and run your miles. On the other hand, if one is already motivated and would like professionel and super detailed workout-record and data, you should think about more professional equipment like sportwatches and hear-rate monitor from garmin, polar, suunto, timex etc...
hi.. I wear all Nike too and I'm planning on getting a micoach... Does the shoe sensor fit in a Nike plus compatible shoe? Like.. does it fit in the sole? And if you attatch it in the shoelaces, is it irritating? thanks! :)

Tengo miCoach desde hace casi dos meses, simplemente espectacular, antes solo corria ahora entreno. He mejorado significativamente y creo poder seguir haciendolo...
@odisea2000ar Hola yo lo estoy usando para entrenar para el maraton de NY pero aveces siento que los entrenamientos de recuperacion son demasiado lentos como que me quedo con mucha energia.
Just started using my miCoach this week. Loving it! It certainly motivates me to run a lot more often with a set goal and some coaching along the way!
The biggest difference is that Nike's system has no coach built in. All it does is track your workout. The Adidas system actually tells you how to train on the fly.
@MedwayCrusaders I would say the other major difference is that Nike+ doesn't really have a heart rate monitor. The Nike+ heart rate monitor (Polar Wearlink+) apparently only works with iPod Nano 5G, and does NOT work with iPhone, iTouch or any other generation Nano, as far as I've seen, which is, needless to say, absurd.

Too bad the person filing the report didn't understand these two BASIC FACTS before they filed their rather uninformative report.

@gfx2006 Does it needs some calibration or is it pretty accurate out of the box?

Would be more accepted when you wouldnt have to upload your personal trainingdata to their website.
