To be honest, I liked GX in the japanese and Judai/Jaden was a very good character. They created a person who wasn't so wrapped up in drama and wanted to have fun and enjoy life, something most can relate to. While its not as epic to watch its far more entertaining to see a cocky kid who loves to duel actually duel and win plus as the series went on, it got darker and Judai actually had character development. All in all, GX was very good and I enjoy watching it... subbed

Honestly, 4Kids would be better off just making an English version of the Japanese intros, but for some reason, they just don't do it. I recommend GX. I do prefer the original and 5D's SLIGHTLY more than it, though it's good so long as you don't watch the dub. (nothing against dubs in general, just this one was horrible) If you can handle card games and motorbikes as subject matter card games and school should be nothing to you.

Watch the dub FIRST. Without comparing it to the sub, it can be enjoyable, or at least watchable. Once you've finished the dub THEN watch the sub to compare it to the dub. That's the way I saw them. I thought the show dubbed was okay then I watched the original version and realized the dub was just horrible to my taste in comparison to the sub.

Naruto's dub was ok before political correctness raped it with censors and they started changing shit like adding an MSpaint bikini to the sexy jutsu and calling it the "harem jutsu" and cutting out half of the blood from the fight scenes. That's what killed the dub for me.

So forgetting an insignificant censor and reduction of the blood (whereas 4kids dubs remove all of it, at least there's still blood) the dub didn't offend you in the slightest? I'm guessing that's supposed to be right, since you can't complain about the voice acting (unlesss one puts their expectations too high) and the script remained almost entirely unchanged. I would think voice acting and script accuracy overpower some censors here and there.

No that's not all that ruined it for me, there was other stuff but I haven't seen it in so long that I can't remember. All I remember was they cut out, censored and changed a couple of other things that kinda bugged me. And Naruto in itself got old for me because it was nothing but fillers and Sasuke-obsessed nonsense.

I know there were a lot of others. Like Neji's Caged Bird seal changed to an X, Asuma's cigarette not being lit (at least it ain't a lolipop), the removal of the infamous NaruSasu kiss (which was better off not being there to begin with, stupid Yaoi fangirls), and the whole part with the Drunken Fist being changed to `Loopy Fist` (which was really the only one that bugged me) But still, Even with all of those edits Naruto remained the same show.
