  • Now, where is the video helping you get as arrogant as a Norwegian?

  • @usernameismyrealname why arrogant? i don't know if they --norwegians-- were arrogant.

  • @nissarachmidwiati what are you trying to say?

  • @usernameismyrealname Eh. I mean the first time I read your post about the ignorant norwegian, i didn't know that norwegian ppl are so called ignorant. Yea but then, i googled it, so many forums said about the ignorance and dull of norwegian ppl.And that's makin me sad because i thought they were so nice. *please, don't flag or spam me*

If anyone here doesn't believe it and wants to spam me, just go google it first, please. :)

  • @nissarachmidwiati I am glad to see you defend norwegians.. It's just facts, - Norwegians always put them selfs in front of others. We are greedy, arrogant and ignorant, and I am not proud of it. I think it has to do with being one of the richest countries (per citizen) .. We automatically become so spoiled. I am talking about the vast majority though.. not every soul.

  • @usernameismyrealname That's something you can't learn from a video on Youtube. Years of practice :)

  • FAEN!

  • @robertjohnson487 Now you're just ignorant.

  • @robertjohnson487 Why would anyone want to learn Latin? It is a dead language, no one speaks it but people still learn it in schools.

  • @bentleynuts321 Latin will be a good language for the drug dealing :)

  • @bentleynuts321

    Doctors. Lawyers. Pharmacists.

You need to know it to become any of those perfessions

  • @bentleynuts321

Because a lot of languages are latin based, therefore if you learn latin you'll be able to pick up words faster.

But this is, of course, for the ones who are interested in learning many different languages.

  • @robertjohnson487 i speak latin D: learnt it in school and carried it on ;D

  • @robertjohnson487 haha. Norway is one of the richest and best countries to live in. I'm sorry mate. but you failed

  • @robertjohnson487 May I ask where YOU are from? -_-

  • @robertjohnson487 Go die... Im not "Norwegian" but the rest of my family is... and I find Norwegian to be a MUCH better language then english... after all most people dont even know proper english...

  • @robertjohnson487 What the fuck are you talking about, you guys dont have a chance to learn Norwegian, but rest of the world have to learn english because you assholes are too pussy to learn Norwegian!!!

  • @privatealeks Sad but true.......My dad said if I wanna visit his family in norway I have to learn it......But its hard when you start late...I dont know why the world has to learn english.

  • @zoidberg96913 usa and the other english talking coutries thinks they are the "king of the language", but i studying german on school and it so fucking hard to learn, english was easier to learnxD

  • @privatealeks I know right..it kinda makes me upset in some way.

  • @robertjohnson487 hello!!whats your problem!im from norway so you can just shut up norwegian is a beutiful language!

  • @robertjohnson487 u suck!u can just fuckin shut up!

  • @robertjohnson487

As long as I live I will NEVER NEVER EVER chose English in front of Norwegian, because I am proud of being one! I don't have anything against English/American people, but you are really pissing me off! And btw, some of the English words come from the Norwegian language, like egg, window and husband. So...I am just letting you know...

  • @Mejerokland I'm American and I believe that the Norwegian Language sounds much more beautiful than English. Good for you that you're proud of your heritage and willing to defend it!

PS. nice job on old norse etymologies. impressive.

  • @Moxieman19

    Thanks! :)

  • Very good course. I'll send to my cousin in Oslo. She is living there since two weeks ago and she talks nothing in norwegian! What a hard situation! And our original language, portuguese, is completely different. I hope she'll be successful.

  • Norwegian is not too hard :3 When you read a word in norwegian it's easier to know how it's pronounced(as opposed to english)although it takes a lot of practice to get the intonation perfectly(I've heard that it takes a foreigner about 5 years, but my best friend whom is chinese almost speaks norwegian perfectly now and she has only lived here for about 3 years) but if you work hard nothing is impossible! ^_^

  • Hey, I'm learning Norwegian right now online, and every tutoring program/software, and website I go to, they pronounce it about the same, but since it's not really how you guys talk, do you think you can give me a few pointers?

Oh and how to tell the difference between a masculine, feminine and neuter noun?

  • Comment removed

  • That´s right, we don´t talk like that because of all our different dialects (may be quite different)!

There is no spesific rules to tell the difference between a masculine, feminine and neuter noun in the norwegian language. You just have to hear what sounds right (not easy for people learning the language). But you can imagine that men and everything that may be regarded as masculine have a masculine noun and so on (not a rule, just a pointer)

  • Die vrouw die alles uitspreekt heeft zo'n zeurderige stem.

  • mmmmm then can u teach us how to pronounce the right norwegian language??? i really want to learn ur language before i come for a visit on christmass

  • Just come, and remember what i said to you and you will understand what i meant.

    BTW bring warm clothes.

  • neivel...? åssen prater vi da?

  • vær så snill a! det høres ut som dama går på lykkepiller jo for faen

  • Yes, I know all of these sayings, but the last one about where is the toilet... Strange. XD *robotic voice* "Where.. is.. the.. TOILET?" *__*

  • The pronunciation is almost identical to Swedish. The vocabulary is fairly different, though. I love both languages.

  • The pronunciation is actually the biggest difference between the two languages.

There are some false-cognates, but the vocabulary is not that different.

  • As you say. I thought pronunciation was similar, as opposed to Danish.

  • Norwegian sounds so cool =D I like northern languages

  • i love black metal from norway. thats why im learning the language :)

  • do you learn online? i can´t find any place that has good grammar explanations

  • i learn from online but before i go to norway i will probably buy a cd to teach me
