My reference material says in 1970, there were 6 RamAir IV GTO Judge Convertables with an automatic. This guy says 5. With so few cars like this, you'd think they'd get it strait. The last one sold at auction was for over $400,000. A bargain compared to any hemi powered covertable mopar.
My father had the Judge version exactly the same as this one but in red, we used it to tow his trailer and Racing Z28, this was way back in the 70's, He sold it for about $6,000. He's sick as a dog about that these days!! It's now somewhere in scandinavia.
my dad had a white one but had to sell it because the insurance on it was too high. Then a couple of days after he sold it he found out the dude he sold it to crashed it into a ditch and totaled it.
I owned the Atoll Blue/Blue/White top one from '78 to '83! It was a running rotted-out 99K-mi basket-case I bought for $750 in Pewaukee, WI! I saved it from the crusher; kept it all Original & #'s-matching and collected all the NOS parts I could. But I was a struggling college kid & sold it in '83 to a chemist in Cedar Rapids, IA. I will NEVER forget how the RA IV idled - I used to start it up & just listen to it idle! 2 weeks after I sold it I bought a '65 3x2/4Sp that I still have to this day!
fucking nice car my dad has a 1970 gto it is silver like yours but its not a judge it has a 400 .30 over turbo 400 trans the only thing is we bought from a gut that used to live in minissota so the car is rotted out underneath but looks good on the outside
