madden was a great devil... always a hard working 3rd liner who killed penalties with the best of them.. him and pando were a dynamic duo in the early 2000's.. but his career is on the downhill at this point and the devils have no more use for him.. same for pandolfo but they made the mistake of resigning him to a bad deal last off-season.
