@thisissoodd did you pationaly dislike halo reach too? its just another rail road game mashed up with alot of animation that have to real relationship with the world that you rin it, a great example i use for this is doom 3..

it was just some models with animation. you are thinking well all games are like that but some games just plainly are that and experience sort of plastic and un harmonic relationship with the rest of the game with no or bad death animation typical symptoms of a ral road

@TheRogueMonk I am a gamer just puting that out there. and I loved the original duke Nukem. although i enjoy alot of the classic shooters like halflife duke nukem golden eye etc. I play mainly rpg games but get this so i have games to play with family and so far halo sucked after the first two games. while I understand where you are comeing from I have to say that the good games died after MW2 because thats now the standard..and a pretty low one at that.

i like shoters that imerge you into teh world with some realism and options you know

these are the duke 3d games of today.. if you remember duke 3d had that for us in 96.

i am against the akward movement that games should alwyas offer new things .. i just want good things even if its a repeat i want it to be a good one

@TheRogueMonk while i agree on your views i did not enjoy farcry 2 it had no real reasoning that was clear enough for me to care. and while i was little dureing 96 i had a n64 and played mainly that with my grandpa who introduced me to Duke Nukem halflife and so on. although one real motivater for me was Quake II for N64 because of the versatility of the game. this was also a favorite of my grandpa. while computer shooters are very fun i prefer controllers and thats why this looks so good to me.

@thisissoodd duke 64 is the best version of duke3d if you want my opinion i even have the mod for pc and that is all i use when play duke 3d .

far cry 2 story was good ebcasue its about real life events in the world, where africans are supressed as usual , but yeah the story is abstract and NOT intruding some may say that is very boring but i think its a welcome fact since most games do putt the story into your face (or did before)

quake did never have a real appealing story while doom story was good because it told itself , quake 1 was a very odd game hehe i never truly liked it .

A very underrated game is quake 3 it had excelleng graphics and fast paced balanced gaming! i love quake 3 and i also love unreal tournament original and the latst one today, true arcade experience

@thisissoodd after seeing games for decade i can see this game will not be amazing its not hard to see if your familiar with details that are not good enough .

i think at best this game might have some charm and some quirks that are special and sweet, however i have experienced so much with games i wouldt just get it right away. Perhaps i would get this game on game.metaboli....co..uk for pc downloadable purchase

btw dont get game form steam steam always have bugs with non steam games

3DR is gone! The distribution is still running on small scale I guess, but the development team is definitely gone. In fact their lives are pretty much hell right now, as they are getting sued to death by their publisher Take2. Look it up.
