  • The voices sound like protoss voices from starcraft 1

  • i think they need another mirrodin block

  • an awesome epic!

  • 0:15 That bitch is pissing me off so bad.

  • I get skared

  • I can't decide whether to join the horde or join the "other" horde

  • My pants are wet..

  • This is H. R. Giger's wet dream.

  • I think Urabrask will be the one who will oppose Phyrexia.

Red mana changed phyrexian, and gave them freedom of mind

  • Father of machines.

    Sounds like Ormissiah

  • Who the F*CK disliked this piece of epicness??

  • @FallenDigitalDevil Mirrans

  • The Mirran chant is now "now we are one"? But, that's exactly what the Phyrexians wanted!

Also, the Phyrexians talk of skin? I thought they hated skin!

The factions are all mixed up!!

  • @Totema1 "Now, we are one!" I think it's because the Mirrans had a hard time uniting properly against Phyrexia. Now that they ARE phyrexians, they can fight on.

  • @Deetozine they are NOT phyrexians they are in the furnace layer and they are all together now, did you actually buy anything from this block?

  • @TheSelvain I have seen nothing that supports your theory. The only thing close is how Urabrask closed off the furnace area. Mirrans got killed and turned into phyrexians, that's not up for discussion.

And tbh, I've spent more money on this block than I care to admit.

  • @Deetozine okay man and i quote form the new phyrexia fat pack book: Urabrask and his servants turned a blind eye to the Mirrans even allowing them to travel among the furnace layer with the praetors implicit permission the furnace layer has become a haven for Mirran survivors of the war, while mirrodinis now the province of Phyrexia a handful of UNCORRUPTED MIRRANS huddle in secret under in secret under the surface awating the day they can be free again check and mate

  • @TheSelvain I stand corrected.

Your arrogance, however, is still annoying. Work on your attitude when interacting with people.

  • @Deetozine meant no offence

  • We will endure, the struggle is far from over!

  • Is it just me, or do the Phyrexians sound a bit like a really pissed off Protoss Probe?

  • god i hope they bring mirrodin/phyrexia back

  • @theaniacrew Took them ten years before they came back here, might be the same amount of time until we find out if Mirrodin rises ever again

  • @DarkSinMan lol, ironic. He's a silver golem lol

  • Elesh Norn is too damn op in standard right now.....

  • make a short movie or something. i want to know more about magic story.

  • 41 mirrodianos hate video. All Will Be One.

  • Ironic how Karn helped to defeat the Phyrexians before, only to ended up infected and their new leader

  • @DarkSinMan Hes not their leader in New Phyrexia he is freed and a planeswalker card "Karn Liberated"

  • This makes me think that this block isn't over yet.

  • @Nurriek The block is over. The story isn't.

  • All will be one. Φ

  • Although the english voice actor is irritating and badly chosen for the purposes of this video to evoke some sort of respect and fear for the upcomming block, it gave me chills :)

  • I was they had the song elongated and posted somewhere, the song is awesome.

  • free magic the gathering cards! theres a vid on my channel telling you how to enter, this is a real raffle, I dont need my cards anymore so im giving them to one lucky person. the raffle will be Nov. 10th so stop by my channel to see how to win the 70+ cards im giving away

  • pyrexia is the pure horror...especially in nighttime when your room is dark and you are alone!

  • @people

Urza and Yawgmoth are loooong dead.

Karn is Liberated and with the Mirrans.

I'm personally kinda mad that the block even ended, the story never did.

Who gives a crap about Innistrad? A bunch of werewolves and vampires, and the only interesting character is Garruk (Liliana's been doing the same thing she's always been doing)

Srs. The Mirrans have Karn, Koth and Elspeth (Venser is dead). The Phyrexians SORT OF have Tezzeret, but he probably wouldn't try to stop them

  • @mangekyodiedara Enough glistening oil and Karn would more than likely turn into Yawgmoth.

  • @HalfLord Nope. The Planeswalker spark prevents any sort of corruption of planeswlakers. The only reason they got Karn in the first place is because he gave up his spark to help heal the multiverse. Technically, they don't really have Tezzeret either, he's just spying on them.

  • karn!!!!!!

  • Damn Wizards, they REALLY need to make a movie

even with this animations we will be satisfied

  • how did I end up here?

  • pardon by unoriginalness,

but I find this easy to masturbate to.

  • I'd like to learn that language!

  • "Welcome to Perfection."

    -Sheoldred, Whispering One

Phyrexia has been reborn, and now Mirrodin is no more. The war is over...and all is as it should be. With this block concluded, the fate of the once bountiful plane of Mirrodin is sealed. Praise Phyrexia.

  • @lambdadelta666 Hmmm... but in the end Karn, who's been revived from his corruption (while losing Venser in the process), will end their rule. That's where the NPH story ends.

  • Karn is the new father of machines, Yawgmoth is supposedly dead, and Phyrexia was the accidental work of Karn for he has the oil inside of his heart. The revere him as a god and he broke free from the Phyrexian influence and Venser and Elspeth helped him, how he became corrupted is because he lost his planes walker spark thus being exposed to the oil. He's trying to help the Mirrodins recover.

  • @banfal34 He's actually a planeswalker again as he think mirrodin is lost and he tries to help other planes... :P

  • Okay no, Urza is dead and Karn Teheran

  • Could father of machines be a reference to Yawgmoth, creator of Phyrexia?

  • It is not a goal but a process. The process of creating the perfect phyrexia.

    - Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur

  • So is karn for the mirrodins, or for the phyrexians?

  • The Artistry on this is pure epicness

  • phyrexian language could possibly make rebecca blacks friday sound good

  • Nerdgasm

  • Phyrexia may be Evil. But you got to admire there work ethic

  • @Elestareus True that, although I don't understand their "take away parts of the body to do better" theory.

  • @Elestareus lolol

  • i think they're going back to Mirridon once more and Urza will lead an assault to destroy phyrexia

  • @spud0401 I WANT TO BELIEVE!

  • @spud0401 Urza's dead, his spark absorbed into Karn and made him a walker

  • Please, Wizards, make a 10 minute video of the Phyrexian language

  • @Alienspider1 Phyrexia ABC's, as taught by Vorinclex.

  • i am a veteran of the plane of Ravnica i know it is late but i am here to help the resistance Ravnican and mirrin magic will combine to destroy the rotter who think they have one

  • Behold the best cardgame trailer to date.

  • Imagine for a moment that the Father of Machines that they are talking about is not Karn.

Now, both voices are Phyrexian! Except there's a good guy amongst them!

  • shitthat was scary

  • OH MY GOD O.o <3

  • Hey,

Does anyone know what cards are shown in this trailer?

  • @Link202 Elesh Norn, Jin-Gitaxias, Sheoldred, Vorinclex, Corrupted Conscience, Urabrask, Praetor's Grasp, Gitaxian Probe, Auriok Survivors. I think the rest are just promotional images.

  • OMG, New Phyrexia is an ultra dark and badass set. I love it. "Behold blessed perfection."

    —Sheoldred, Whispering One

  • I think the guy at the beginning holding New Phyrexia is Yawgmoth. The first Father of Machines.

  • Phyrexian Unlife + Melvira, Sylvok Outcast + Phyrexian Mana + Soul Conduit = not bad!

  • The shitty American voice acting ruins an otherwise flawless presentation.

  • If Phyrexians wouldn´t impose their point of view on others so violently, they wouldn´t be so despised by the rest of the Multiverse. I just say that.

  • Embrace the glistening oil.

The false skin of mirrodin has been flayed.

The true heart of Phyrexia has been revealed.

    All have become one.

Succumb to the glorious poisons of immortality.

  • 0:26 the most useless card ive seen yet

  • @dastreet123 I dunno, I've seen some good decks use it to interesting effect.

  • @dastreet123 what card is it?

  • Stupid vid idgi

  • @SweetZombiJesus

that matters not. look at dommanaria...phyrexia may nto have conqured it...but old school phyrexia has all but destroyed it. as far as i know there is no more mana there...well no more coloured mana if we dont win we will make sure we can win on a later date

  • @MrPenfold666 The lack of mana is because of Karona and the events of Time Spiral, it has nothing to do with Phyrexia.

  • This wouldn't have happened if they just reprinted arcbound ravager

  • the father will always be yawgmoth lol

  • Phyrexians refer themselves as "Perfection made flesh". And as a Mirran, I wonder: How can you be perfect, when once you have conquered Mirrodin, your factions started to conspire against each other?

  • @Sliverandzant943 That's because each faction has their own way and they want their way of perfection to be the only way so they turn against each other

  • @rebelcommando12 In this video the Mirran voice says: "In consuming our world, infectors have become the infected". Looks like New School Phyrexians were "infected" by the "Individuality" Old Phyrexia despised so much, I see.

  • @Sliverandzant943 okay i was kinda wrong by saying what i said its actually the preators of each faction that have their own vision for a perfect phyrexia thats why they are conspiring against each other

  • @rebelcommando12 Indeed; I guess this New Phyrexia will eventually collapse due to conflicts between beings of their own kind.

  • @Sliverandzant943

this is called evolution and it's brining every species to kind a "revolution". that would not be different when another side wins... this you should know as you're living on this "real" earth ;)

  • @DoNotEnterFagAss Maybe. But, don´t you think phyrexians are far too negative about existance and life itself? Besides (no offense, worthy adversaries) Phyrexia philosophy is incredibly similar to that of the Nazi Germany. I mean, they consider themselves "perfection made flesh", try to assimilate others without caring if they want to be phyrexians or not, destroy whatever they cannot assimilate, are megalomaniacs... Check it out on MTGSalvationWiki for references.

  • @Sliverandzant943 every system fail's to itself. to point this out takes more space as youtubes offers here ;)

  • @DoNotEnterFagAss What do you mean, man?

  • I acctualy like Mirrodin better than phyrexian :D

  • The father of machines is URZA!!! the destroyer of planes!!!

  • All hail the New Phyrexia. Ф

  • ...Your Moor Fiend is now mine!

  • Resist all you want Melira. Your resistance makes my Bonehorde stronger.

  • Mirrodin is lost. And get ready to see Phrexia in the other Plains. This is going to be sweet

  • Phyrexian: The coolest sounding Language EVER, period! :-)

  • Darksteel Colossus > Karn

  • @thedarkdomino

Platinum Angel > Blightsteel Colossus > Darksteel Colossus > Karn

Platinum Angel is the cheapest card ever to be created in Magic.

  • i have a question about deck building (im new to magic) can you mix cards from the mirrodin expansions with cards from new phyrexia to make a deck??? thank you

  • @MrJokerNick that depends do you mean Mirrodin from way back in 2003? if so then no not unless your playing vintage or legacy.

if your talking about Scars of Mirrodin, and Mirrodin Besieged stuff then yes

  • @MrJokerNick If you're not going to tournaments, and just playing with friends, then you can put any card in your deck. However if you're going to FNM then you're gonna have to follow Standard format (I think)

  • @DiOuroboros He does indeed destroy Phyrexians on his way out of the Vault of Whispers, dozens at a time as I said. Then, free of the oil, he says he will ensure he destroys any oil he tracked across the multi-verse, yes. Nothing I said was wrong. U mad?

  • i have a question hoe did the war start im sorta new to magic

  • @PyroAshgem I don't know lore wise, but flover text the Pheyrexian oil was at the heart of Mirrodin and and the Pheyrexians drilled up from the core of the world where the oil started.

  • @PyroAshgem From what I've been able to gather from various sites including wizards. The Phyrexians were on an unstable plane that Urza and Mishra found. When Mishra was tainted by the oil Urza planned for centuries to rid the multiverse of the Phyrexians, one of the things he created to do this was the golem Karn. When Karn merged with a ship of Urza's creation called Weatherlight his Plainswalker spark ignited and allowed thim to travel the multiverse. He created Mirrodin as sort of a home...

  • @PyroAshgem (Continued) plane. He then went to find one of his Planeswalker friends to show her what he had done. When he returned he was tainted with the Phyrexian oil and it spread. It found it's way to the hollow core of Mirrodin and festered. It wasn't long before the Machine Othodoxy thrived once again. They irrupted from the core and spread. Again, that's what I've gathered and I wouldn't be surprised if I was way off.

  • Phyrexians ftw.

  • Our homeland is now corrupted. The purity of our world has been lost to the darkness of the Phyrexians.

But just as they tried to infect us, it seems that the Phyrexians are now the ones infected.

The heart of Mirrodin burns within our Phyrexian captors,

And until the day that our world is pure again, the fire shall always burn.

The five suns may set on a Phyrexian world for now, but not forever

  • Look at how the words spoken in phyrexian are opposite to those spoken in "Common" (english), For example, at 0:39, "Savior" is spoken in english, and "Destroyer" Is spoken in phyrexian.

  • why is "Rebecca Black - Friday" in the suggestions? has the world come into an end?!

  • Yawgmoth is confirmed dead by the Magic creative team. He's probably not coming back, as the book Scourge received a lot of hate by the fans for bringing Yawgmoth back.

We never know what will happen, but I'm guessing the Ineffable is gone for good.

  • Karn is one machine.

He was created by Urza who was also incapable of defeating us.

What makes you think he has a prayer when his creator and countless others died to us the first time after centuries of preparation?

  • @wormer104 Because at the end of the day, Karn did defeat you. And he will again.

  • @baval5 He defeated us....with the help of multiple old walkers with centuries of preparation and battle experience.

Oh not to mention The Legacy Weapon which is no longer functional.

He does not have those old walkers now. Most are dead or without their spark and Karn has spread oil to every plane he ever walked to.

So the fact that he held us up previously was due to all these other factors which he does not have now.

  • @wormer104 Actually, the demands of the plot defeated "you."

  • @endersgame55 This is flavor discussion.

So breaking the 4th wall isn't allowed. :3

  • JAJALIEJA!!!

  • The Mirrans will win. Karn will not be defeated. LONG LIVE MIRRODIN

  • @baval5 LONG LIVE THE PHYREXIAN SWARM

  • To all MTG players, the pros especially =) whats the recommended starter deck to buy for New Phyrexia ? Im a new player starting to play this year. Please help =) thanks.

  • @azzim94 By starter deck, do you mean intro deck or event deck?

Intro packs contain less competitive cards, but are cheaper and can still provide a great experience on the kitchen table. The intro packs for New Phyrexia are Life for Death (White/Red), Artful Destruction (White/green tokens), Devouring Skies (Blue/black fliers), Feast of Flesh (Black/Red sacrifice and disruption), and Ravaging Swarm (Blue/green infect).

Artful Destruction and Ravaging Swarm are the most cohesive overall.

  • @azzim94 You want to draft; not necessarily buy a starter deck. It will increase your vard pool and give you deck building and deck playing skills all at the same time.

  • The first time I saw Urabrask I thought "Wait, the slivers are making a comeback?"

  • MIRRODIN FOREVER

  • Jesus, those phyrexians have been annoying me for YEARS now, why won't the plane just fucking explode in the end blow away all pieces of bloody phyrexia. What a crappy block this one was, really.

  • How about all of you who are fighting over this go read the book about Elspeth, Koth, and Venser go find Karn to help stop Phyrexia. Good luck Phyrexians, you'll need it. Three pissed off legendary planeswalkers, and another ready to rip New Phyrexia an infinite number of new assholes from the inside. One things certain I wouldn't want all those guys on my ass. Haven't read this yet but plan on buying it soon.

  • @fenrirbl00d

Dude, you apparently never read the first Invasion books. Even Urza himself and his nine titans couldn´t do shit against Phyrexian might and those were the days when planeswalkers could actually do something not like these modern neo-walkers that can die from a flu for gods sake. As far as I´m concerned, the multiverse just got screwed since the greatest and mos fearsome might in existance is back to rule it all.

ALL WILL BE ONE ! щ(゚Д゚щ)

  • @Ch33s3Entertainment nah remember urza turned traitor, if he hadnt, they would have fucked phyrexia up

  • Wait, Karn is the father of machines?

  • @YumeNoMatsuri in a sense yeah, he accidentally spilled some of the phyrexian glistening oil when he created Argentum/MIrrodin

  • Comment removed

  • "Underling Ethu's 263rd report read simply "Yes, my lord. Overwhelmingly, my lord." This marked the end of the Mirran-Phyrexian War."

  • the mirrans are now one,the phyrexians are now 5 faction.phyrexia is starts to use mirran technology, and build up the perfect world change mirrodin to something different. The mirrans are the infectors, phyrexians are the infected.

  • The first battle may be lost,

but the struggle is far from over.

From every part of this corrupted world,

those who wish to resist are gathering together.

The flames will not bow to Phyrexia.

The seas will not bow to Phyrexia

The Suns will not bow to Phyrexia.

The Father of Machines, KARN, is coming. Saviour.

  • @Veladrin YOU ARE ARE WRONG we are perfection made flesh our voice calls out to the lost and broken they fear death eeven as we offer immortality we will flay the false skin of this world to reveal the face of a new phyrexia the great work has begun. ALL WILL BE ONE. The Farther of Machines is coming. Destroyer
  • @Veladrin Pityful Mirran.......

  • @Veladrin FAIL.

  • @Veladrin Karn is not working to save mirrodin he is trying to stop it from spreading to other planes Mirrodin is beyond him and the Mirrans

  • @bait668 Yet he´s going to lead the Mirran Resistance along with Koth, Elspeth and Melira; look at MTG Salvation Wiki for references.

  • @Sliverandzant943 I know I hate to say it but with koth they have a chance to destroy us

  • @Veladrin yeah, keep believing that.

  • Hail elesh norn!

  • Lol. I just bought 1 booster pack, I started going "Karn Karn Karn" and the rare? Karn Released. Only if it worked for jace 2.0

  • @ntheawsome at my local shop, someone pulled 3 Karn in a fat pack. the rare distribution is all screwy in those. Another 2 people got a karn each in fat packs, best I got ou of a box was Sword of War and Peace =(

  • @sl1d3w4ysAE86 i got a karn at the prerelease, along with venser the sojourner and vorinclex. when it came out i got a fat pack got an elesh norn and urabrask. at the release i got a batterskull a koth of the hammer and another urabrask. ratio of mythics in normal packs 2/9 ratio of mythics in events 1/2. i iz broken luck.

  • @sl1d3w4ysAE86 I pulled 2 Karns and a Batterskull from a box among 4 other mythics, no Obliterators though. The first single booster of NPH I got had a Sword, I've been really lucky thus far

  • 0:20

Urabask the Hidden, Phyrexian Red Praetor, and master of the Forge Layer, is different from the other Praetors.

Red mana carries with it the spirit of individuality and freedom.

According to the Planeswalker's Guide to New Phyrexia, the Red Phyrexians are slowly developing a sense of individuality and separating themselves from the Phyrexian hive mind.

Urabask even allowed a group of Mirrans to escape his territory unharmed.

It would be awesome if the Red Phyrexians rebelled.

  • if anyone is looking to trade i hace a karn and a tez in my trade stock

  • just did a fatpak opening and got a karn

  • Could someone erase that video of Rebecca Black?

  • @Sliverandzant943 maybe Karn

  • @duckinmypants Karn Is COMING... to destroy Rebecca Black!

  • The Mirrodin/Phyrexian War is one of the coolest MTG expansions yet.

    Artifacts, artifacts everywhere.

  • Recommended videos:Rebecca black-friday WTF???I guess THATS why mirrans lost the war hey had that song as their marching anthem XD XD XD Φ

  • Karn is comeing to kick some Phyrexian Asses!!!!

  • @ItamarO93 You mean Mirran a**?

  • @Roodaka475 cards say otherwise =P Karn is way too powerful for some pathetic germs that got a few brain cells to overcome. Mirrodin will be victorious! Glory to Karn!

  • @baval5 NO because "We are perfection made into flesh. We call out to the lost and broken. They fear death, even as we offer eternal life. We flay the false skin of this world, to reveal the face of the New Phyrexia. Our great work has begun. Karn, the father of machines, is coming. The destroyer. All will be one."
