everything the characters "revealed" in the movie was a lie. The minor characters (and Shake) are always lying. The only truthful characters are Frylock and Meatwad (and usually Carl). Dr. Weird I'm not sure about. He's just weird and never even in the show anymore. You kinda assume he created everyone in his laboratory.
