The cancer risk is higher for cannabis than for tobacco. Then there are the secondary effects. I personally knew someone who committed suicide due to psychosis triggered by cannabis use. There is a well established link between cannabis and mental health issues.

please be more specific when commenting on what type of cannabis he or she was smoking there is a big difference between natural and hydro weed, the excess of most substances will have an adverse affect if not controlled in moderate usage, users should also be aware if there family has a history with depression or mental illness before using any drug these conditions can be hereditary and people more venerable to mental health issues than some. Australian Bureau of Statistics published that between 1997 and 2001, in Australia there were;

Mental 68 deaths e.g. behavioural disorders due to usage

Accidental 98 deaths e.g. accidental poisoning

Suicide 11 deaths e.g. intentional self-poisoning by drugs

Undetermined 7 deaths

These statistics do not include traffic accidents where cannabis has been a contributing factor

You're trying to prove weed caused all mental disorder related deaths? Get a fucking life, it's not even proven that it causes any mental harm.

The only reason they say it is involved in traffic accidents so much is because it can be detected in your blood for up to 2 months after you smoke, but there isn't any way to see HOW much is in your blood.

Plus death from drugs are only counted by DIRECT result, and Cannabis CANNOT do that.
