Something else I liked better about the early years was that the girls didn't just drop into Fonzie's arms the minute he snapped his finger. The one in this clip needed a little persuading. It was hard for me to believe that all the gals on the show thought The Fonz walked on water and was flawless.

The first rwo seasons of this were easily the best. This show lost a lot when they started taping in front of a studio audience. They started writing and playing to the audience more than the stroylinr, the characters became more overblown - espec. Fonz. Close-ups in these seasons were great particulalry Henry Winkler, who had great facial expressions. All that was lost after season two.
